- I haven't flown the SU-27 in about three years now and it was only once that I flew it with my friend Moose. I actually had a lot of fun flying this module even though it isn't full fidelity. Hopefully one day we get a full fidelity module of a REDFOR aircraft. Thanks for the support!

Sukhoi looks just so god damn beautiful it's hard to believe that it's a military aircraft. Like holy shit those angles and the way it maneuvers is just mind blowing.

Nice to see the Flanker get some love! Even though it's non-clicky, it's still a heckuva deadly fighter and can go toe to toe with any other bird in DCS. I usually choose the naval Flanker D (Su-33) because boats are fun, but that's just me :)

I personally use the su-33 because the canards look nice
The 33 has one more set of hard points too. You know, if you load all the stations with OFP rockets, you will have an absolute air to ground BEAST. Yes, you can effectively engage ground targets with rockets at Mach one plus. :) Bombs are trickier at Mach, but can be done with a little practice. CBUs are the best for that. At that speed, AAA is no longer a factor, and you are pretty much outrunning MANPADS. It's by far my favorite ground attack aircraft! Rolling down the chute at high Mach is super exhilarating! Give it a try. :)

@@AlenB29 1000's and 1000's of hours flying DCS. I started back in 2009 when LOMAC was released. I flew the A10-C in a virtual squad every night for around 4 years. Then moved on to the Hornet. But my favorite jet is the SU-25. That is a stick and rudder aircraft with a gun sight. It's challenging a super rewarding. Its a beast and blast to fly.

Wish they would give the SU-27 bendy wings and air vortices like the MiG 29 gets.
Su-27 actually does have wing flex, but it could use a bit of a visual update.
@@javerstv I know people say it does and I've tried to see it, if it's there it's pretty subtle.

Su-27 was my first module and its still my favorite
I will start with the F15 Eagle, but I noticed that besides choppers the only modern cool one F16 is fully clickable, all the rest aren't.
Is it worth to learn many or better to focus on a few (so to master those few or only one better? and enjoy it more as a result thanks to the accomplishment one can achieve)?
Isn't the fully clickable (basically only the F16 besides the F18 which is however "out dated") more immersive, more easier to control, more satisfying?

A lot of fun to fly anyway, well modeled and a bit quirky.
Best shot for a true "modern" (80s-90s) RedFor plane is probably the Mig-29A 9.12 or a Chinese licensed or upgraded version, maybe by Deka.

3 years is long time, but RTFM is never hurts . E - is for "extended" (long range) missiles, plus last Harrier would have been easy gun-kill too ;)

@@TrickerDCS Not sure but what I do know is for just the low price of $1 a month you could prevent harrier abuse and give a young harrier the means to defend himself, for just the price of a cheap coffee harriers could have a fighting chance of survival by purchasing a Raytheon AN/APG-65. Beast?! Actually, you're using ERs for splashing Harriers at 6km. ?!? That's like using a 10lbs hammer to nail a pin thru a cardboard. Point that Flanker towards an Eagle and you'll change your mind calling it a Beast.

I'll take a Flanker against an Eagle any day. High Fast and Furious and the Flanker will take on anything.
