Oh no. I love the effort but there are a lot of areas where tech should not be used to replace humans. If the tsa agent is going to be paying attention through a screen he might as well be there in person
The only thing I absolutely like about this is that the bins are automatically put away. Way too many people leave their bins behind and are inconsiderate. If they aren't going to change, we might as well fix that issue.
if they start doing this they might as well just get rid of the entire screening process all together
I agree with you
other US airports need to do the same thing as Las Vegas
Like Denver
Phoenix
Salt Lake City
imagine getting missing your flight because the boomer in front of you doesn't know when to get out of the scanner
that would require an extreme lack of pre-planning on your side
Boomers can read and the machines will tell you to leave or they’ll read it.
@@DReed1945Dude legit the card reader says “remove card” and they stare at it like deer in headlights and then ask “Do I remove it?”
OP sounds like an entitled brat
I'd only be ok with this if they kept all the lines open so there's a chance there's a slightly shorter line

I hate this, enough with the self service already. TSA screening at airports isn't the same as going to Target or Walmart!

Absolutely not.

Jesus security theatre is expensive.
Still makes you feel like you going thru a prison check point.
So it's like self service tills at supermarkets....... Designed to cut staff costs.
What if there’s a gun
LOOKS INCREDIBLY GOOD! A MASSIVE step forward if you ask me…😊
This would be so good for people with autism.
I had a chance to try this. It works good, but you have to hold your arms very specifically to make the body scanner happy. I'd use it again.
Ok I can deal with this because TSA and other employers give me anxiety just thinking about what kind of attitude Im going to have to deal with
Would be better if we just abolished this horrible and useless agency.
Never going to happen. They want it this way.
This would 100% get hacked sometime 😂
😂
thats cool, no sec. screenings anymore for me .. i'm 6,7ft and there is no scanner for my size and apparently no officer for me to view me manually xD
😂😂😂
Wait, which airport is this
"Please assume the position for scanning. Please not that lube for the probe is only for business class passengers.
McCarran not nasty Reid
I bet they will not cut any jobs if they implement this. Just more wasteful money being spent.

Cool
Fun fact , the Bangalore international airport (BLR) terminal 1 already has this tech which already is in operation
