On the topic of the flood covering the whole earth: is it possible that the continents were all one before the flood? And when everything went crazy under the ground it split the land mass into the continents we have now? It’s interesting to see the mountain-like ranges under the waters in between all the continents like they were broken up at one point.

It’s possible. But I wonder then how all the animals got back to the rest of the world when the doors of the ark were opened. How did kangaroos get back to Australia? If it were a local floor that wouldn’t matter and a local flood could still have accomplished Gods plan. I get the YEC paleontologist views of places like the grand canyon need a global flood and so would shifting tectonic plates in a year.
@@missinglink_eth At the end of the flood the oceans were hotter and great evaporation in the polar oceans cause massive rain and snow until the ocean cooled off enough, During that time there was enormous volcanic action blocking the sun's heat resulting in a 500 year glaciation period which caused low ocean levels due to water being tied up in the glaciers, resulting in a land bridge to Australia and to far north America.
The 40,000 miles of oceanic ridges in the oceans are the remainder left after the fountains of the deep erupted..
@@danminer5343 so they walked all the way to the polar caps and Australia and didn’t stop anywhere else to make habitats? That’s a long way. The Bible talks about “the whole world” in many other places and those places do not woodenly mean all of planet earth.
As a cattle rancher, I can tell you grass does not die when cows eat it. The root and plant itself remain. They eat the tops of the blades. As long as you have a sufficient amount of pasture for the number of animals grazing on it, the plant itself continues to grow, AND they fertilize the soil to propel that growth. It is the same way as when the humans pick the berries and fruits from a tree. It doesn't kill the bush or the tree. In fact, pruning and regularly harvesting the berries should make the future harvest of that bush even greater.
I believe the bible does talk about dinosaurs. They're just called dragons and leviathans and behemoths etc. Dinosaur means terrible lizard and wasnt a word til the 1800s. At least thats what i learned

@@carterpeterson1323 I'm curious if the same scientists counting all those billions of years are the same ones that say boys can be girls? Honestly I'm not the expert on this however others that are can explain creation and the much smaller time table in a way that makes a lot more sense than any other theory I've ever heard. They use facts and evidence and the bible and it's actually logical. It makes evolution sound even more ridiculous and doesn't support the idea that earth is billions of years old.

History shows that dinosaurs lived most of the rime during the last 4,000 years
Question if I may; Day one, light and darkness..... Day four, sun and moon to help in the dark and give us daylight. My question is: What's the difference other than the formation of the stars and moon?
I apologize for the silly question, but, I'm recently starting (with the help of a good friend) this journey once again after going through the first part of my life rather secular and i figured the beginning was a good place to start.
The light God created at the beginning of chapter 1 has no mention of a light source, so we deduce that He is the source. For day and night you need a rotating planet with a fixed light source which God could easily establish. In revelation we read that when God creates the new earth, there will be no more Sun but that He will provide the light, like he probably did for the first 3 days of creation. Then on day 4 He creates the Sun etc, and day and night as we know it are made.

Mark does not know that scientists have now found proof of a 6,000year age of the earth. I can show the fraud and/or deception in 100% of every statement ever used by evolutionists to promote their false religion. No honest statement exists in any book or scientific journal used to promote the quackery story of evolutionism.
Im on your wife's side and i believe the same thing. The arguments are in depth and long but make more sense than anything else to me
I have spent decades studying this issue reading hundreds of science books and publications. 100% of all honest science agrees with age of the earth to be around 6,000 years. Nothing looks any older scientifically.

That reasoning is outdated. That’s no longer an excuse for passivity. The Bible lists the qualifications for leaders of congregations. And this perverted individual does not meet them.
Pastor Mark, there are diseases and thorn in the fossile record, but God said his creation was good.
How could death, thorns and disease be good?
I have no doubt that age of the earth is 6000 years old now.
But how are dinosaurs billions of years old?
@@carterpeterson1323 Billions of years for dinosaurs isn't even what they are imagining. Millions is the delusion.
God is outside of time and God created Adam as a full grown man and God also created the world as a fully developed space, matter and time. Dinosaurs bones have been found to still contain soft tissue and blood cells. People from thousands of years ago drew images of the dinosaurs and showed their use of them to do things like pull chariots.

Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”
the fosel record shows it was a global flood and sin was in the world - dinos with cancer etc have been found.
You start screwing around with the origin of sin and its consequences (death disease and suffering) come before the event
I want to respond to your interpretation of Hebrews 6:1-6 video. I am curious as to why you say the text is presented as a hypothetical that is impossible. In Hebrews 3-4 the writer makes it clear that one can lose their salvation. He states that the Israelites did not enter their rest(Canaan) because of their unfaithfulness. The writer warns his audience of the same (Hebrews 4:1). The context of Hebrews is significant. The letter is to those who are tempted to revert to Judaism. If you go back to Judaism then you don't have Jesus's sacrifice. The writer isn't playing out a hypothetical, but telling his audience that if they go back to Judaism then they will lose their salvation because they are reverting to a system that did not provide forgiveness. Also, this action is a direct expression of rejection of Jesus's sacrifice. It is truly impossible to be saved if one rejects Jesus and reverts to Judaism. This same attitude is expressed once more in Hebrews 10:29. Hebrews 3-4- It is possible to lose salvation. Hebrews 6- You will lose your salvation if you turn FROM Jesus and BACK to Judaism. It is important to note that the "elementary principles of Christ" is not reference to New Testament realities, but the foundation of Jesus's coming that is found in the Old Testament. This is what Hebrews is about. The Old Testament predicted and revealed who Jesus would be and what he would do. They are to move on from the Old Testament that was used to reveal the fundamental principles of Jesus (Galatians 3:24).
If salvation is by Grace(Ephesians 2v8-9) the maintenance of salvation must also be by grace.
An excellent book about evolution, the Big Bang and creation is the Axis of Beginning.

I kinda have a hybrid theory on creation. I do believe the earth is old. I think it’s possible that humans are old as well. I think it’s altogether possible that the creation story was about creation of everything except Adam and Even and the Garden. Genesis 2 then begins the creation of God’s chosen people ~6k years ago through whom His Christ would come.
Do not add to the precepts of the HOLY SCRIPTURES.

I don't think that a finite mind trying to make sense of the infinite is adding or subtracting from the Law (which was fulfilled in Christ) in a creation story in which there are multiple competing theories. I'm just hypothesizing one. Pastor Mark would call that an open handed issue.. We no longer live under the Law. But thank you for your concern.
I also don’t appreciate how you dis/joke about Detroit. Have you ever been there? I live about 45 minutes from there and we visit the city often. All our major sports team stadiums are right in the heart of the city. Great theaters, restaurants and businesses. I feel safe when walking around the major city. Of course, all big cities have their issues and dangers (ie; South Chicago…you don’t want to stop for gas there!) but, making flippant comments about Detroit when you go off of the old reputations is disheartening. It shows your arrogance. I was excited to watch more of your videos, but I’m thinking God showed me I shouldn’t get so involved in them. He is right. I just need the Bible and not some cocky preachers. Bye!
Mark! The flood was just on part of the earth that was civilized? Why would God ask Noah to bring in animals to save? Would would the effects of the flood show up in America (ie; the Grand Canyon). You are much wiser than me because of all your research, but have you seen “Is Genesis History?” And continued research on it? I have and I am so disappointed that you would say the flood was little. How about both? What if evolution was the process by which and through which God created everything? Of course, we will never know. It's a mystery.

The truth is that every component of every organism on earth is irreducibly complex, meaning that God created each "KIND"complete with a 100% DNA. We can't live without all of our required parts and systems which is why we die when we lose one.
Evolution is not a process nor is it science. Evolutionism is only a false claim that there is no God who created everything.
"Evolution" is only a word, it can't walk, it can't talk, I cannot see, it is nothing but an imaginary false idol.
Religion.
The bible teaches little that would not otherwise be obvious. Nothing of good value, could not have been done without religion. While many atrocities have been committed both in the story book and in more recent times, because of religion.

Then ready the Book of the Heavenly Luminaries in the Book of Enoch.. I believe it is the 78th or 80th chapter. Been a while since I read it but if you do then you will realize the Science that we have all been indoctrinated with and all the Lies that you have to have Faith in to make Science actually work is astounding. I prefer to believe the truth myself. Not some scientist that thinks you came from primordial soup. Its literally designed to be unprovable and unbelievable so you just have to believe in it or it goes away. Well guess what... It's going away.. they just claimed the "uni"(one) verse is now twice as old as last PREDICTED cuz it's all predictions after predictions theory after theory and then they just wait 2 or 3 generations and claim all their theories as Bold Blatant Lies that are now considered Facts when it should never be cuz it's not proven not can it ever be proven.
