from AI - While this combination is a popular DIY trend, it is not a highly effective fertilizer compared to traditional methods. Blending whole bananas into water can actually cause more harm than good for some plants. Using B1 vitamins (thiamine) as a fertilizer is a persistent gardening myth. Dolazim iz Hrvatske. Moja mama nikad nije stavljala nikakve banane i vitamine. Na jesen dobro nagnjoji sa stajskim gnojivom, u proljeće posadi sadnice paradajza, jedanput ili dvaput ih okopa i uživamo cijelo ljeto u predivnom okusu i mirisu(onako kako treba pomidor mirisati), sad sve nekakve tehnike vezivanja, navodnjavanja a povrće ni okusa ni mirisa…sve slične kakvoće
This is hands down one of the best tutoring videos I have ever watched, the patience and dedication you showed throughout the entire process is truly inspiring.
The Q-tips are a great idea. Usually most people talk about burying the tomato roots deep. There is no deep root system here, yet you get good results. That's great. Slashing the main stems to bend them over the bamboo stakes is another ingenious idea. The stems are not damaged. The plants adjust and continue to grow. Thanks for great ideas. Only 1 question. What is in those bags? Pure chicken manure?
The bags are for a Vietnamese brand of Chicken feed: "for good coloration of the feathers." By filling them with dirt he seems to be getting another use out of them.
This person makes this whole thing like it's a well-known process - the one who came up with it was brilliant, and I'd love to know how they did it. The bag label THỨC ĂN HƠN CHO GÀ LÔNG MÀU is Vietnamese and translates to BETTER FEED FOR COLORED CHICKENS. I can't find any feed in the US (or any English-speaking country) that is for colored chickens, so what do you use in place of this? It looks like this is also what the germinated seeds in the plastic cups were planted in. What kind of tomatoes are they? How did they think of the banana & Vitamin B1 solution, the soaked onion peels solution, and the bit about slicing into the stems and bending them (what was he purpose of that)? Is there something that could be done with the very strong-looking parts that were cut off at 40 days? This setup appears to be outside - how did they protect the tomatoes from birds, because I see what looks like open sky.
I was confused by that too, but I believe the bags are just bags. (perhaps he has chickens and this is a feed he uses. I believe he mixes his own organic potting soil and fills the bags. The look to have been used, refilled with soil, and sewn shut. That soil inside looks to have something like wheat chafe or something similar (some kind of husks) but doesn't seem to contain anything that chickens could eat, so that was my take away.
Moonlight, I was wondering the same thing about slicing the stem. I think it was so they could rest on the lattice for support. Evidently it doesn't do any harm as I thought it might.
@jhefty123 kinda crazy isn't it? All can be managed with nothing more than a good old fashioned soil test! I have great structure now... But low npk? Why? City water! Kills microbes! I'm done with that now! Rain barrel and pond water time! Never dumped a spoon of fertilizer in 10 years. Natural kitchen compost. No till Wood chips. Soil is amazing... Chlorinated water is the only thing that makes sense! Dead fungi and microbes!
Hi @TerraceGarden! 🍅 I’m absolutely amazed by your trick of using old bags to grow such massive tomatoes. It’s a brilliant way to recycle while achieving incredible productivity! 🌿✨ Your step-by-step guidance is so clear, making it perfect for home gardeners like me who want to maximize space. This channel is truly a hidden gem for sustainable living! 💎📈 A tiny suggestion from a fan: would you consider sharing a video on the best organic fertilizer mix you use for these bag-grown tomatoes? 🧪🌱 It would be a game-changer for our harvests! Keep up the fantastic work! 🙌🔥
This is wonderful help! Thank you for taking the time to show the steps along the way for growing plus the neat extras I never would have thought about like the bananas, B1 & onion peels!
Plants need NPK - Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, banana peals and onion peals are giving that to them, vit b1 is good for roots and growth. Ofc you have to be carrefour with all of them because it is fertilizer. What I like to do is giving plants a little bit of hydro solution - it is a fertilizer you use for growing plants in water. In every watering a little bit and it is always giving plants what they want.
Very nice plants. Have you tried blending comfrey with the banana peels? Loaded with vitamins and minerals for a more natural fertilizer and one you can grow yourself to save even more money on your gardening?

Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video for us. I for one really appreciate it I do have one question and that is doesn't the green algae in the water containers affect the plants in a negative way?
Great idea it works😊 I would only do one ting different. I would harvest smaller ones when they are green and pickle them as I like them that way pickled 😊
I'm always so happy to see when your videos come out - no nonsense, pleasant instructional videos with chill music every time. 10/10. I have to imagine you go around and help people set up growing various things and come back later for the ends of videos because of all the projects you record! Which would be even better - sharing with community!
It's also outstanding to see how much your channel has grown! But on top of that, I still LOVE that we're making lattice with zip-ties! Jerry-rig EVERYTHING in my opinion! I have the back window from a medium trailer I aim to turn into a leaning greenhouse this year, and will be using tires for 'raised beds'! :D
I scooped seeds from my favorite vine ripe. Put the scoop in soil just like you did. I have so many plants it nuts. However I failed to separate early on. So some made it after separation and some didn’t. Still gave a couple more to separate.

The university of you tube !
so true
The B1 Potassium trick with the Banana and blender water trick was GENIUS!! Well done, great way to give them some needed boost.

what is in the bags
@georgiaquinlan9696soil
So growing tomatoes on concrete is actually possible? 😄 Thanks for the super clear and detailed guide, you definitely inspired me to try it myself. 🍅
me too!

Cow dung and soil and a little vermicompost
I really like (and learn!) how you reuse and recycle everything.
They bury the roots deep so you don't need something to support the plants. He supports the plants.
Couldn't be pure chicken manure as it would burn the plant roots up.

@bowtiethirteentwenty8627 It's so the stems bend but not break.
I think by slicing the stems is to keep the flow of nutrients to the fruit without damaging the stem. As it will heal at the bent attitude
My question as well thank you.
Thanks for sharing . Especially the q-tip trick for a homemade drip line.
Simple, smart, and effective gardening trick 👏
So much I'd have never thought to try. Good stuff man
Great video, no expensive equipment & zero lab engineered chemicals.
B-1 Tablets???
everything this plant touched was made from lab grown chemicals. It's all plastic!

I was just thinking he has the hands of an artist!

He showed using a solution from banana and added B1 when the plant was young as well as the solution from brewing onion peels
This is wonderful help! Thank you for taking the time to show the steps along the way for growing plus the neat extras I never would have thought about like the bananas, B1 & onion peels!
Great idea for folks who live anywhere where there is no ground to plant in and you want an alternative to pots. Interesting video, thanks!
Lovely, always wanted my own veg garden, something to think about for the future, great work!

Amazing! Love the music, all of it! Wish you were my neighbor 😂 Tomatoes look beautiful and delicious!

4 дольки банана нисколько не помогут томатам.
Hello... Can you use the inside as well as the onion skin ?
Wait a minute….. I can use that for my indoor hydroponics ? 🤔
Very nice plants. Have you tried blending comfrey with the banana peels? Loaded with vitamins and minerals for a more natural fertilizer and one you can grow yourself to save even more money on your gardening?
Amazing! I didn't think recycling burlap sacks could produce such delicious, juicy tomatoes.

Those tomatoes look better than the ones we get in America at our store here. New subscriber here.
Store tomatoes suck. Especially after you have grown your own. Actually alot of the vegetables from the grocery store are trash.
Thank You very much!
God bless you brother! 🍅
Muchas gracias ❤❤❤
