If UNWRA would leave Gaza there is a real chance for the people in Gaza to live good lives.

General Lazzarini is no pushover. It’s very reassuring to hear his strict humanitarian principles are aligned with those of International Humanitarian Law, as he firmly upheld in his frank responses to Hardtalk’s rather belligerent interrogation.
That said, this adversarial approach of the interviewer only served to highlight the strong integrity of UNRWA under the leadership of Lazzarini in its resistance to politicalization. UNRWA should perhaps be in charge of “what happens after” - for Gazans (definitely NOT Netanyahu or ANY USIsraeli coalition “protectorate”)

How this comment has proven to be steeped in ignorance. The fact that the Moslems are doing worse to Christians in Nigeria and UN and UNRWA do not give a hoot proves the corruption of that body. UN should be scrapped, it is the main problem of the world by its dishonesty and bias.

It is impossible for the head of an organization like UNrwa not to be aware of what his people are doing in gaza for decades. twas reported that UNrwa's personnel who were killed are also active soldiers of hamas.

Hardtalk - more like Soft Talk. Weak interview with few evidence based challenges. Stop quoting what you believe to be right wing sources and go and find the evidence of UNRWA corruption yourself. Poor critical journalism but not surprising from BBC

So BBC Hardtalk has become an IDF/Netanyahu mouthpiece without any inkling of informed questions regarding the very most basic tenets of intl law? Despicable host. All strength to UNRWA and its head for keeping steadfast and stoic in face of such ridiculous questions

you are a hater - if someone asks question he is mouthpiece . Israel obeys international law and is a democracy - unlike the countries of your parents - probably arabs . 22 countries not a single democracy .
