- After hearing that Hamish from NaCL Lures experienced some incredible land-based fishing at a spot that the boys had fished only weeks earlier, a plan is hatched to head back for an overnight camping and fishing mission.
On the first morning, they set out on a decent walk to a spot they've had success at in the past, with the mighty Kingfish at the top of their hit list. After that, they relocate to a spot where they can camp within casting distance of the rocks, where they'll spend the afternoon fishing to catch dinner, before settling in for the night, with the plan to do it all over again the next day.
Josh from Marco Boats and the RUclips channel 'The Plan' is joining to help the boys out on this fishing mission. He’s keen to catch a fish, so let’s see how the boys get on…

Welcome to The Lateral Line, an online fishing show presented by Milan Radonich and Nathan O’Hearn, 2 best mates better described as brothers. They both have a genuine love and respect for everything that New Zealand's outdoors has to offer.
The Lateral Line is all about being out in the wide open spaces with good mates, for days at a time, soaking in New Zealand’s beautiful scenery, laughing out loud, and having as much fun as possible while trying to catch something to cook and eat. Throw in a few big Yellowtail Kingfish and the odd big Snapper and the boys are living their best lives.
Milan and Nathan have been fishing together for over 15 years and had always dreamed about having a custom-built boat that would suit them and their fishing style perfectly. Danye at Marco Boats in their hometown Morrinsville has quite literally made that dream a reality. He took all the ideas the boys had and built a boat with the model name Sojourn. Sojourn meaning “a short stay”.

Poaching fish in saltwater is pretty good tucker, when its done pour the water off add a big knob of butter and some salt and pepper, hook in fellas

NZ is so bloody beautiful. I nearly moved there when younger, but teachers' pay was too low. I've been there three times, though and have caught some AWESOME fish. Fly fishing for trout and went rowing out through the surf at Mehanga Beach and were catching whopping huge snapper in 6 foot of water on the sand. This just does NOT happen in Australia. We caught lots of Gummie Sharks as well.
