It’s not about getting on the same schedule as Maynard......they send Maynard completed tracks to which he then writes lyrics to. Touring is another story, but maybe they just make the music when they want to.
@@poopinata I know .. Now find the Tool Easter egg, among this and the interludes from fear inoculum and download bonus track when you buy the album, and maybe Maynard's Easter weekend egg and duck and purpose and tradition and meaning dialogue.
Why in the everliving fuck wasn't this what the new Tool album was like. This sounds like truly the next interesting step for Tool's music. It has all the shoegaze influence of Adam Jone's past and has some post rock vibes. This is better than anything Tool has put out since 2005.
yup, I even theorized the track as an additional track just before that one. listen to this then 7emptest right after, sounds like it was supposed to be there but they were obsessed with the number 7 so they wanted 7 songs on the album. This is like the missing 8th song - minus vocals
This is so lovely. I can dial in those guitar tones easily enough; but, I am baffled by that dry, sandy bass tone! How is that made? * maybe pull all mids, but OOF there is so much more to it *

I liked this 3D version better...
Do I even have enough ears for that.?
Adam Jones . Thank you for being such an awesome musician. Could listen forever. Amazing talent.
Sounds like Tubular Bells and thats in a good way. Mike Oldfield wow. Adam has his own twist so beautiful.
I want more instrumentals from these cats ! If they can’t get on the same schedule as Maynard .. then this would be just as good in the meantime

"It's not good when it's done, it's done when it's good." - Adam Jones
I didn't know a song could be so intense and calm, in the same time. pure art
Hypnotizing

It inspires awe.
I can see Adam Jones becoming like a new Burzum.
Not ideology wise but music wise.
That bass intro is so FLOOD
Amazing musical moment ! Would be delighted if you play this on May 12 in Paris… Love you guys !
How would anyone not like this?

I agree. I have listened to this more than the Album itself. Considering this was something like an advertisment for Adams Gibson Guitar
He should go into scoring movies.
Just read about this song on Wikipedia. Couldn't find on Spotify or Pandora.
Благодарю! 🔥
I hear similarities to the beginning of 7emptest throughout the song.

A chef never reveals the secret 😂
The bass he plays is probably a factor in his tone

@Honda 89lude projecting. You wouldn't have even mentioned it otherwise.
3D Audio? That doesn't exist.
Especially with youtube's audio compression. One lowercase dee, but its not even really a d, it's an inverted p.
I tried to Shazam this and it Fu©|{Ed me around
This song isnt on spotify and it isnt copyrighted so thats why shazam probably doesnt recognise it
@@ErvaCoban yeah I found that out, it brings up some of the worst songs in existence
There is no such thing as 3D or 8D audio. Anyone working in sound is laughing their ass off that people think this is special
Do yourself a favor and search HRTF...
I think I made this before on audacity when I overlapped a king crimson song with a shooting range
Amateur.
Jones made this entirely by sampling Toxic by Brittney Spears while he was on a plane to Singapore from NY. Everyone knows that.
