One of my favorite jokes in the original series was where one character tells the Warners to “give the bird”, to which Yakko responds “well we’d love to, but the Fox censors won’t let us”. Now that they’re on a streaming service and likely might not have to worry about censors, I wonder if they’ll joke about that.

They did bring in Elmira for an episode. I think it she was brought in to be their "babysitter" or something. They even blended into a Buttons and Mindy episode

Doubt it. Power Rangers was a HUGE thing at the time Animaniacs made fun of it, which is why they did it. I'm sure they'll be focusing on new things they couldn't make fun of when they were off the air.

There have been a couple of stand out reboot successes to me. Danger Mouse and Duck Tales did a great job of retaining the original style and humour but modernising it in the right way. Look forward to it.

I’m so excited for the reboot! I’ve seen some reruns of the show and seen pinky and the brain show, but I never grew up with the show.
The very 90s cartoon that I've always wanted to comeback! And what's great about it is that it continues the show instead of remaking it, just modernizing it. Love Animaniacs, so excited for this! ❤️ Helloooooo Nurse!
One thing Andre: what will replace “Bill Clinton plays the sax” in the opening song?! I know they struggled with that one, and it needs to be updated because Clinton and saxophones isn’t so relevant anymore.
There will be a new theme song with the same tune but new lyrics.
They've had variations for that line in the past (apparently for different seasons), so I think they'll be fine.

There have been a couple of stand out reboot successes to me. Danger Mouse and Duck Tales did a great job of retaining the original style and humour but modernising it in the right way. Look forward to it.
