That man is the type of leader every military wants for real. Willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING for the cause, and had the ability to command his men even to their deaths. And they marched not only willingly, but knowingly to their imminent deaths later. Man was a legend in the series for a reason, not unlike the Ackerman's
I am always watching in sub and usually dub always suck, but one dub i will never diss is Commander Erwin Smiths dub voice actor, he is goddamn amazing and really makes you feel something, the power in dub version of smiths voice is crazy
Erwin deserved so much more screen time! I loved his character right up until the very end and with each episode that plays I think of his sacrifice and courage! One of the best leaders in not just Attack on Titan, but all of Anime! 😎

Erwin died so Armin could get shot in season 4 and cry about it. Meanwhile Erwin loses an arm in battle and manages to not only free himself from the titan trying to eat him, but make his way through the wall of titans in the way and free Eren. Armin was smart and useful in the beginning and then turned gay
Erwin would probably want peace with the outside world, as does armin, he just probably would've stopped eren from doing this for eldia to get it, like armins trying to do . Yall just like him as a person now instead of a character, u overhumanize him and think you know what he would do but you dont bc it didnt happen.
Erwin smith is a warrior and he is the best leader in survey Corps history he proved to be very methodical, resilient and had demonstrated his fighting skills to and has been a massive part of the survey corps sucesss
