Oh my! What a wonderful treat to see this. One of the very best uniforms, very sharp precision, good looking people - almost makes me wish I was Norwegian.
@@norwegiannationalist7678 my mistake hmgk are ranked number 12 in terms of Drill team, Number 1 being the Blue Angels of the U.S Navy, Number 2 being the PLA navy of China, U.S Marines are at number 10
I used to think USMC is the only and best silent drill in the world, until I saw this magnificent, sharply dressed, good looking people of Norway. God bless Norwegian military for treating us.
This makes me feel good. This makes me feel proud on behalf of these young women and men in his majesties the Kings guard, band and drill team. What a fine job they do representing Norway!
Who should think that the members of HM The King’s Guard Band and Drill Team are amateurs and do only play and drill together for 12 months, and then new members become into the band and drill team. Fantastic interaction.
These are 18-20 year old young men and women doing ther one year madnatory service. They've been training less than a year for this. And those are real bayonets. Wicked sharp.
Wow! I can't believe there are no comments. Well, I guess I believe it considering how dumbed down the world has become. Anyway. This is fantastic!!! Norway should be very proud. I'm half Swedish and it makes me proud to have Scandinavian heritage.
11 months to be exact. Only training for under 6 months before starting to have performances. Really detail oriented and strict days. Was truly amazing to participate in the drillteam that year!
They have it in their program every year I think, but they don't include everything in every performance. The whole complete drill is 30 minutes or so, but they cut it down to different segments for different shows.
Given the 'overview': How about 'painting' the underlying "pavement" light grey - or even white, so that one could actually and fully see what these utterly magnificient soldiers, in black uniforms, are doing?! ;-)
Well, it is always good to be prepared! There has been vikings up russian rivers before so it is good to know we can entertain the russian people next time we go back! 😆.
From Los Angeles, California, USA - This is my Mental Therapy - Getting in touch with my Norwegian roots. AMAZING! 🌈🇺🇸😘🇳🇴

When they played the Ode to Joy... literal chills.
and they are all conscripts doing their 1 year mandatory service for king and country
Schitterend. Magnifcent. Prachtig. Grusse aus die Niederlande
Magnificent. Beats every drill team I've seen. Greetings from Greece

In meiner Jugend war ich in einem Drill-Team. Hatte Springfield 03's dann auf m1 umgestellt, da sie mehr klapperten.
A marvelous performance!

Yes, this is Her Majesty the King's Guard. mhm, very good narrator.
HIS Majesty :-)
Excellent drill team. On a par with the best from the UK and the US Marine Corps.
wilhard45 the most incredible thing is they are normal conscripts that are in the company for a year top, for the most part.

Great song though return of Slavinika or something like that if I remember
Bubbolando actually the first song is their regimental march, the 2nd song is the Russian one
Its called "Farewell to Slavianka" A truly magificant piece of music.
@@Coldstreamer17 No, first of all HMKG is a battalion. The song of HMKG is called Gammel Jegermarsj.

Great performance but I was disappointed with the music. In my opinion it was not up to their usual high quality.
