For cosine rule you can say “angle sandwich” because the angle is in between the sides

You forgot about Pythagoras Theorem for right angle triangle

You are absolutely right! How could I forget the very foundation when we start learning about triangles and trigonometry? Thanks for the catch!

How about if there are only two angles are given, is that possible to find the missing side?

For the Sine and Cosine Rules, you always need 3 pieces of information. With that information, at least one piece needs to be a side if you are going to solve for any of the other parts.
Imagine if you drew a triangle with technology. You could zoom in and zoom out all you want. The side lengths would all change with every zoom, but all of the angles would still be the same. That’s why you need at least one side to “lock in” the triangle to one fixed size.

SohCahToa is an acronym for right triangle relationships.
Soh is sine = opposite side / hypotenuse
Cah is cosine = adjacent side / hypotenuse
Toa is tangent = opposite side / adjacent side

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. What question(s) do you still have that maybe I can help with?
