There are wash, Rinse, Spin lights. Spin mean drying. So you have to keep it on Only Spin. If u are use latest model, Spin option is there. U can select only spin(dry) with Spin
Excellent review. I only bought an LG 7kg model about 2 months ago and it's the best washing machine I have ever purchased. It's got some rather clever technology inside.
Thats odd because I just bought a new lg top of the line front end loader. But due to energy laws, it will not use enough water to do more than dampen and beat my laundry, unless I manually add water to every load. Oh and it takes forever and seems very inefficient in that it'll dink around stoping and going for hours. I could use a faster setting but it already leaves laundry with soap residue if you don't add enough water manually. At least its not hooked up to the internet and spying on me like the rest of this new, so called smart tech does.
I have been using this model for last six years...... excellent.....a suggestion to all...if the outer body of the machine gets rusted (as in my case) visit welders they change the outer panels in say ₹2500 or 3000 and it's worth it.... I did the same and no complaints ... good
Yes my machine's three outer panels were damaged due to moisture and rusting (not the front panel) I got it changed and it's working fine LG store takes 15 days to change it.but welder took 4days
If you require a spin only on this machine turn it on and without pushing any thing first push the spin speed button and select your spin speed and then press start
I think your explanation about the detergent tray is wrong. First compartment in the tray is for main wash, second compartment is for fabric softener and 3rd one is for pre wash.

The machine scroll button has longer wash cycles and fewer time cycles wash programs. and the machine has a hot water option also. if ur clothes have more dirt ( like cotton), u chose a long cycle and increase the temperature also. if ur clothes have less dirt u can choose short time cycles. For high effectiveness or more purity in rinse operation you can choose Medic Rinse option.• Available in Cotton, Synthetic and Baby Care program.• Medic Rinse is the default in the Baby Care program. pre-wash Use this option for a load that needs pre-treatment. Add 16 minutes prewash and drain.- When using the Pre Wash option, do not use liquid detergent in the main wash compartment. Use powder for the main wash.• Available in Cotton, Synthetic, and Baby Care program. If the laundry is normal and heavily soiled, the "Intensive" option is effective. If you want to prevent creasing, select the create Care option.
I was surprised because the another LG machines that i'm familiar with has 1000/1200/1400 rpm, but i've never seen a 700rpm version of lg direct drive machine.
There is no need to turn off the tap because the machine automatically takes water from the tap only when needed. If you want to turn off the tap, turn off the top after washing is complete

Some time if it has any problem It will indicate with beeb sond. If u add more cloths or if it can't get the water from water tap, it will indicates with beep sond. If u want to on child lock, you have to press and hold both buttons Pre wash and Medic Rince 5 seconds. Then it will on.

I can't understand the one i have. I cant leave when i start, because it stops and beeps until i press start again, for rinse, for spin. Sometimes itll start and then stop and beep after a minute or two. Im sure yheres something i can do about it, but ive been looking at videos and manuals to no avail.

One doubt. Can i wash comforter in this machine. I dumped my king size comfortable inside my LG washing machine. It occupied full space of the drum. The went on washing more than 2 hours and showed an error code. I had to hard stop my machine. Is comforters cant be used in washing machines ?
U can use comfort. Some latest models have seen separate partisan for softeners. U can add comfort to comfort partition. If you are use old model u have add in Rince cycle after wash compleated.

If machine can not get the water properly from the water tap it will show it. U check the water supply. you clean pump filter, if not at front, then remove lower rear panel of washer, locate and remove large black hose on drum ,remove and clean filter inside, remove hose onto pump and check for obstruction there as well.
