Ngl i think the 10 minute version of paper lanterns at Woodstock was more to do with happenstance than anything. Billie wanted to join the fight but Mike and Tre wanted to keep playing 💀
It’s actually a G3 grabber and he didn’t use it on dookie, it’s was broken and he got it fixed before the tour but not int time to record, he did use it on Kerplunk tho
Mike Dirnt is literally the most fit looking member of any band ever! The dude just doesn’t age. He’s the next Mick Jagger. He’s also one of the most underrated bass players around.
no one- bassists, punks, or even most Green Day fans ever talk about his bass playing, but it's so vibrant and colorful with Billie Joe's usually simple punk guitar parts and Tre's crazy and crazy tight druming.
