This is a great talk! Fr Keating talks about many obvious things that Christians tend to avoid, such as the mystic experience and going beyond mere believing. There is that interview with Carl Jung where he is asked if he believes in God, and he says, I dont have to believe- i know. He regretted saying that and has been strongly derided for saying it, but i think it has to be like that. We have to get the actual experience.
Another thing fundamentalists object to here is the non-dual conception of God. Keating is notably careful to avoid saying that God and we are one, but he says all creation is one, with Gd underlying it. This falls far short of the Vedantic claim that there is only God, which is pure existence consciousness bliss, and everything else is nothing more than a movie projected onto this unchanging screen, or dream of this consciousness, which is God. Keating stays strictly within the Catholic idea of Union with God, which, if you read the great mystical writers - Meister Eckhart, St. John of the Cross, etc, comes very close to pure oneness.
All is ONE! Hallelujah!

Gloria in Excelsis Deo! 🙏
On consciousness; Consciousness is not without conscience.
