@@JerryReyes-qz3tgit's bias to say that Lea deserves the National Artist award more only because she was recognized internationally. Thats colonial mentality! You can be great here in the Philippines. You dont need to go broadway or any parts of the world to be great. Lea is great. So is Regine. But to say that Lea deserve it more, why? It's a pity that a lot of Filipinos equate international recognition to greatness.
