It's amazing to me that God Save The Queen was such an international sensation in that at one point or another it was the national anthem of over a dozen different countries. It was even tried in an Asian nation once upon a time with traditional Asian instruments. That version of God Save The Queen is by far the most intriguing and well-crafted interpretation of that song I've heard out of the many different versions I heard in a compilation video right here on RUclips.
I like how used the Revolution Day 1990 anthem for 14:55. It sounds like the band is putting all their effort in the anthem for the last parade to be seen by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
@@VICTORISAACBABIA After defeating the First French Empire, Tsar Alexander I of Russia recommended a national anthem for Russia. The lyrics were written by Vasily Zhukovsky, and the music of the British anthem "God Save the King" was used.
The Internationale was one of the best it’s so unifying especially the lyrics (as with most Communist songs) but I’m glad Russia still uses that old Bolshevik party sound the Soviets used for so long. A lot of people don’t actually know that the Soviet anthem came from the old Bolsheviks party anthem.
In my eyes nothing can beat the beauty that is the Internationale
in my ears nothing can beat the beauty that is God Save the Tsar
It was the right decision to bring the Russian national anthem back to the melody of the Soviet national anthem

That music was actually made in France, and France was first country to have this melody as anthem

As a Russian, the 1815-1833 anthem is the most adorable to me
