Sometimes I just want the freedom of a coffee blue morning. A morning tasting like strawberries and cream, cozy but still somehow moving, travelling, shifting. Walking through windy Vienna in the early morning while listening to Bill Lawrence making everything softer. Making even the growing dark clouds in the distance feel warm and kind or like they'd be forever moving, on a big mission no one looking up can ever guess. How much strength it takes to move away from the noise but still don't get lost in stillness. Slowly entering a small Cafè, piles of newspapers on the table and the smell of coffee while taking in the warm atmosphere. People reading or quietly talking underneath layers of music. Feeling like i could slip and disappear into the music. Just for once, let everything go. Let everything be. Just... be alive, just be here, just breathe and let that be enough. No plans. No worries for tomorrow. Not even words to describe how I feel... just... music.
I love albums that release one song at a time. I can listen to every track several times in a week and have a chance to really take it in before the next one drops, as opposed to being blasted with a 12 track LP in under an hour! Keep it up guys, I can't wait.
Amazing, again. Heard this song 6 months ago, and couldnt wait for this song (and entire album ofcourse) to be released. Great soundtrack for a good movie I'd say!
Bill in his solo works and in his involvement of Snarky Puppy typically plays the genre called "Jazz Fusion", which takes aspect of jazz and mixes them with other genre aspects, such as Rock, RnB and others. This is one of his few pieces that I would say wouldn't really be fusion, so I would call this specific piece Jazz. Hopefully this helped.
OK, I love these guys. My fave artist right now. I have 1 very minor complaint. I'm not in love with the way that piano sounds. It could be better given Bill's touch.
That pianist's face is the face of a man who truly feels music in it's rawest form.
His name is Bill Laurance
Sounds like something from a film soundtrack, so much atmosphere
Amanda Worthington truman show, philip glass, thanks
only a matter of time until is
THIS is one of the best compositions I have ever heard.

If you ever have a complex because of your pinky finger sticking out stiff then maybe the fact that so does Michael League's might cheer you up :)
mmmm so good. Definite Philip Glass influence here.
Campbell Youngblood-Petersen "influence" is a very subtle way to put it...
+Campbell Youngblood-Petersen the song is minimalistic yes. It is minimalism.
Very very nice !
Maybe someone knows where could i find piano sheets ?
any luck my friend?
@@hughwilliams-vo9xq not yet
@3:31 !!!!!!
anyone notice that at 1:58 Michael League has a FC Barcelona jacket on?
Valentine Milliand me to!
for a minute there I expected him to play "Opening" by philip glass. Can't say I'm disappointed with what it turned out to be
Marzia brought me here :D
Sounds incredibly similar to Phillip Glass' Opening piano theme.
Very... Very.. Similar. Especially the beginning. And the left hand.
like a rain
Can anyone recommend music similar to this?
all his albums
What genre of music is this?

Good. Good music.

Is Sput Using an umbrella to Sound Proof the drums?.....Does anyone else do this?
2020 some one ?
These guys are from a multiple grammy winning band Snarky Puppy. Bill Laurence himself brought me here. Who the f*00 is Marzia?
....en los paises subdesarrollados apenas lo conocen....
I'm not convinced by Marzia's tastes in music. I'm going to keep listening to Radiohead, Bowie and Muse.
Hypno Toad poor you...
+Hector Alonso (“M031192”) Poor me? you should listen to Bowie too
+Swen Zettler No I'm not
Swen Zettler Why would you comment on that... for fuck sake
Swen Zettler That's like asking why I don't like some sort of food ... That's just how it is
Sounds a bit like westworld soundtrack
Pierre Renou so true!Guess I am not the only one
🥲
now get Agnes Obel in there and baby you got a stew.
This music has a problem... too short. x)
sounds like philip glass...
