The number of implements used varies greatly depending on what part of the country you're in and what you're farming. That field may seem large by victorian standards, but up north that's actually quite small.
"Normally in australia" is quite generic. As previously mentioned it depends where you are. Most people around me run one header, one chaser more silos then chassis bins and bulk haulage companies are pretty common although more people are moving toward their own trucks.
Im a kiwi and love the idea of the aussie outback life. So im downloading this map to check it out. Probably the closest im ever gonna get to aussie life haha
The colours and layout looks like it's based on SA / NT or inland WA, QLD, NSW. VIC, TAS and Coastal Regions would look very different. but I do like the adjustments to the EL Map it does actually make it look like outback AUS. I like how they made the trees into (Blue?) Gums. definitely not Ghosties and the trunks didn't look Red in the VOD so must be Blue's :D
My grandparents live on a outback farm and I help my pop with the work and I enjoy it alot except for the waking up at 6am to go feed the cattle. I've always wanted to have a legal way to enjoy doing my own farm work whenever I can and it's nice to know I can now enjoy doing that thanks to you for making me discover this mod. 😁
Here's my opinion on the multiplayer series, and hope it helps you in the future. The thing I enjoy about your single player is a sense of progression. Starting off small, and working through the frustrations of smaller equipment to seeing where your priorities of investment are. your first episode here starts off with a three trailer semi. Also, the other people on the server have no character, and are basically workers. A multiplayer I'd like to see is for you to team up with a couple of other youtubers and collaborate on a farm, from the beginning. Not every episode has to have twelve people on, after an initial video, you could work in pairs, on various sections. No money cheats, no owning all fields, just a group of people playing the games economy, with occasional chat and cross channel promotion :)
@@shanepolsen6334 bloody oath mate, the one for fs17 never made it. Want it sooooooo baaaaaad. Pc players get EVERYTHING us console players get NOTHING! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think it'll happen, most of the time mods don't come to console cause of licensing, thats why you didnt see john deer on previous console versions, but this is just a map it just takes time c:
get rid of the single axle dolly and get a dual axel one mate, also those trailers do look good apart from the oversize sign on them, and giants actually donated $50000 to drought angels, a charity to help drought affected farmers here in Australia
I like this series!! Furthermore a truck to be a Road Train, you must have at least three trailers attached. Aussie road trains ranged between three to six trailers on average, but their has been longer road trains on Australian outback roadways.
Theres no such thing as a six trailer road train in Australia thats illegal asf the longest you can have is 4 but you have to have an A trailer in the combination
Make sure you harvest lots of wheat and do baling when you can, also sheep should be heavily focused on (that is is you want to keep true to life) either way I love the map choice, keep up the great videos!
I dont have a lot of mods, so in order to make a train i've been buying super B's, keeping the lead trailer, and selling the pull trailer. My trains currently got 4 carts, 3 leads and 1 pull behind. pro tip, 500HP is not enough for 4 full grain trailers.
if only that train was really as long as the usual grain/frieght train in australia at sometimes over 2-3KM long. Been at a town where a grain train started crossing the highway near the roadhouse just as I arrived at the roadhouse for lunch. I had lunch and 2 coffees, then jumped in the car and still had to wait 10 minutes for the train to finish crossing. It was moving very slow the rail line cuts right through the middle of the town, and the highway does as well but headed East whereas the rail oine is north to south facing. I would have to go and see if this moddem map exists for FS22. 18:20 DaggerTrain - Slow and steady wins the race.
My family owns a crop farm in the outback of Australia and we have 50k to 80k of acres and our small fields are the ones that u guys where doing (there huge fields)
Just for the immersion, the grain trailers for the road train shouldn't have any oversize signs on them because trey aren't oversize. Also, if you can find and 2 or 3 axle dollys, you want to get those.
Multiplayer is a lot less interesting to watch because you already have all the fields & you can buy whatever equipment you like. There is no journey or struggle. Like the song says: "It's the climb".
I like survival roleplay series but other videos is also good but I got disappointed with the new multiplayer videos because you played a bit unserious. But let’s see if this mp gameplay is something to enjoy 😊
Never back up a dolly trailer. Take the first trailer attach the dolly. Drop the dolly, get the next trailer with the semi. back it up and attach the first trialers dolly to the rear. Rinse and repeat
I just recently found out that on the tiny farm yard down my road has an old Massy 1000 just like the ones in the game's mod and it was bigger that I would have expected.
Yes, be aware of the "Mad man" driving the train. Really wish Giants put the "Auto train driver" with the traffic on/off setting, to be able to turn OFF the train driver.
Damn, I should really get around and buy FS19. Nice road train, you should get a Kenworth T909 with a Cummins ISX or CAT C15 and complete the Aussie Road Train package. PS Those Single Axle Dollys are bugging me since I'm used to Double or Triple Axled Dollys on Road Trains
actually, I think Brazil would be a better place to focus on an upcoming map. Not just the FS and ETS community are way bigger than Australia, but we produce waaaaay more grains and livestock.
@@nicolascarneiro1492 With the vast majority of the Australian population concentrated along the coastlines there's an absolutely massive amount of the country used for agriculture. What land is no good for arable use goes to cattle production. Take a look at a map and you may get some idea.
@@scottthompson292 it is almost the same scenario here, but with larger proportions. Brazil is the worlds biggest producer of: bovine meat; soy beans; sugar cane; and coffee. it is also on the top 3 of swine production and the second producer of chicken meat. 23,5% of the GDP comes from the exports of the agriculture. Sure, the aussies must produce a lot, but not as much as brazil.
Its comparing apples to oranges. There's vast differences in cropping and livestock systems across australia, most likely similar to Brazil. There is minimal focus on australian style maps and equipment in the game. No field bins especially which are a huge aspect of many broad acre enterprises (different to mother bins), very few if any augers, Australian style utes or trucks. Any change away from the European and American styles is good in my eyes, but I don't think a 'we are more deservant because we are bigger' argument has much merit. Both have equal opportunities to show different aspects of world agriculture, just need keen modders to put it into practice!
An Australian map would be great. They could do the Western Australian cotton farms, or add a new crop (Poppies) and base the map in the North West of Tasmania. We grow lots of poppies here.
