do you have to have a child theme? can i not just create a form and write it to the database?
I have not tried it with the parent theme, child theme worked for me. You can try it and let me know
Morning nice clear example, thanks. I wonder if you can help me with an issue I am having with the Mapping functionality. I want to update an SQL database table on a VPS (different host to the website). Every time a user enters information into Form A (for example) I want that data to be transferred to a table in the SQL database. I 'Create a Query" > complete the connection questions (as I understand them) but I cannot see any tables on the SQL database as I expected to so I cannot insert data into my remote table. Any pointers as to what needs to happen for this process to work

Hi Sorry RUclips took the linked documents I had for this video away. They changed their policies on linked documents.
also try the video in full screen mode on one monitor and then edit your code in a second monitor

youtube removed links, due to know policy they have you will have to follow the video and stop it from time to time, I cover all the steps in detail.
