I'm disabled so I will never be able to see these amazing places, even if I did have the financial means. So, I want to say thank you for documenting your journey to these beautiful places. Because at least that way I get to see them through your eyes, and that means more than you can possibly imagine. ❤
I often wonder if I were a photographer like you and all the adventures you go through, I would never want to go home! You take some the best photos I've ever seen!
Dear Dani, to watch your videos (and fotos) means always joy for me. Thank you for this and the beautiful squirrel-calendar and the squirrel-postcard which arrived last week. "God fortsättning", welcome back in Sweden and ❤greetings from Värmland/Andrea
This is what RUclips is for !! This is a marvelous vid I was saddened that the Roo vids are no more. But the fox and puffin vids (all of her vids) are a must
Beautiful! I am the kind a person who always wants to experience the "smells" of a place. And I am surprised how often that is never mentioned. I watched an archeology video of a recently discovered Egyptian tomb, that had never been plundered. I was dying to know if it had a particular smell. No humans had been in the hidden chambers since they'd been created, hundreds of thousands of years ago. ( Dusty, or musty,.....smells of sand and earth, or surprisingly without odor at all.) I wished they had said something. They found many newly discovered hieroglyphs & mummies. The air in Iceland must be refreshing,...the rejuvenating ocean odors, and all the fish and fowl. And the plant life blanketing the cliffs.
I love this video so much,....it takes me away from the stress I am often experiencing. The views are breathtaking. The color of the water, contrasting the mountains. The sculptural rock formations.
Dani your videography and photo skills are amazing as always but you really couldn't go wrong on that island which is so beautiful and rugged too. That trek down gave me the willys. I am terrified of heights. I can go up but not down without a big struggle. You handle that very well and I'm sure your group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I tried my hand at taking quality pictures many years ago and got lots of compliments but had to give it up because it was getting very expensive. Thank you so much Dani!
I've loved puffins since I read: Oh, There Once Was a Puffin… Oh, there once was a Puffin Just the shape of a muffin, And he lived on an island In the bright blue sea! He ate little fishes, That were most delicious, And he had them for supper And he had them for tea. But this poor little Puffin, He couldn’t play nothin’, For he hadn’t anybody To play with at all. So he sat on his island, And he cried for awhile, and He felt very lonely, And he felt very small. Then along came the fishes, And they said, “If you wishes, You can have us for playmates, Instead of for tea!” So they now play together, In all sorts of weather, And the Puffin eats pancakes, Like you and like me. -Florence Page Jaques, originally published in Highlights Magazine
Outstanding video, Dani! It’s incredible how your footage made us feel like we were right there in Iceland with you. That hike up and down the cliffs - absolutely epic!
Lovely , fantastic work Dani.. Showing our Loving Creator's amazing and awe-inspiring Creation and our wonderful, wonderful animals. Already looking forward to your next masterpiece. Take care and be careful out there. ❤😊
Beautiful. It is wonderful to see the wildlife here, my family and I are going to Iceland next year. Though with more of a tourist expectation than any wildlife.
I loved your video Dani. I went to Iceland in August this year. One of the places that we visited was the Westfjords. We went to the Látrabjarg cliffs, but the weather was really bad. It was really windy and very wet. Sadly we didn't get to see any puffins or other sea birds.
Oh so nice you went to Drangy for the puffins. I recognized everything on the island. It was worth the difficult climb and down. I would we could stay longer on the island but we had to go back with the boat like you and your group. I was also on a photography trip in Iceland, in the summer of 2022. Thank you for this video. Greetings from the Netherlands.
What an amazing experience for you. Thanks for sharing. How you didn't bash your camera on the climb down. Or maybe you did lol. Hope some of the puffin photos will be available for download.
I know nothing about how you create such beautiful photos but I wondered, your videos are so amazing, can you take a video image and make a photo that you publish or use for your calendars?

Thousands of puffins?! Last I heard from people in the know it's more like MILLIONS. I enjoyed the video! I lived here for 17 years and seen exactly zero puffins :P
You are so talented! Breathtaking videography, story telling and editing. Your work has brought my gray world back to colors. Thank you!

We've all seen puffins on the Farne Islands, Skomer and Bempton cliffs, but your photography is beyond that. Exceptionally well done.

Oh, yes! 👍 It's wonderful. 😍
She has good voice though
Agreed! The Travel channel looks like amateurs compared to this lady! Give her a feature film. Let her do a remake of the Narnia series!

So glad!

Beautiful. It is wonderful to see the wildlife here, my family and I are going to Iceland next year. Though with more of a tourist expectation than any wildlife.
You'll see birds! Arctic terns, eiders, phalarope can be found in towns and beaches.
@@DaniConnorWild very excited, I plan to bring a long lens just in case.
Yep, that wandrd sling can produce something better than the full backpack 😲
