We have 3 dogs, and i am also waiting for a 5-door version of the Gurkha so that i can take the 3 and travel everywhere. I was considering getting the trax/citiline, because it would be easier to remove the 2 rows at the back and make a bed type arrangement for the dogs to travel. The thing is one of them has this motion sickness, so whenever he travels even for 3-4kms inside a car, he vomits. Did you ever face this kind of a situation? If yes, how did you work around it to have them on for longer travel? We tried taking our 3 dogs (all 3 are indies adopted from the street as puppies) to somewhere nearby in our tiago - but they were fully restless, with the male one vomiting thrice. Theres nothing i want more than to show the 3 of them the world, as much as I can, within their life time. Can you please let me know if you have any suggestions around this? Also - how's Gurkha experience overall? I am waiting for the 5-door version so that we can have at least basic safety features like 2 airbags at the least, instead of going on cars without airbags, especially with our dogs. Otherwise i'd have gone for the citiline/cruiser - so i am waiting for now.
We have been travelling with Chica and Ash since Chica was a puppy (we adopted Ash, the Husky when she was three years old). Initially we used to do short rides and gradually started increasing the distance. Now both are pro travelers and we have done a couple of 5000+ kms trips with them. Start slow and gradually you will reach there. We are loving the Gurkha and both Chica and Ash are also super comfortable in the vehicle. The Gurkha matches our driving style and I guess it is how it should be driven. If someone likes to drive fast and is always in a hurry to reach the destination rather than enjoy the journey then definitely Gurkha is not meant for such people. The five door version as well as the new version (BS6.2) would be completely different from the BS6 version and you should wait for the reviews before deciding, just a suggestion.
The Gurkha is very comfortable especially on long drives. The clutch is very light, gears are hard (will take some time to get used to), overall it is very comfortable.
Hello. Wanted to know that since you purchased Gurkha, have you faced minor or major breakdowns or oil leaking problems or any sort of manufacturing issues. Because there are a lot of videos there cribbing about oil leaking, alinement problems, bushings falled etc....and all these within 3 mnts of buying... I had made 200% plans to buy this product but after few videos, i am very spectical on my purchase. These videos ka punch line is 'If u buy this product, be prepared to sacrifice your free time at Force motor work shop'.
Hi, We took delivery of our BS6 Gurkha in January and have driven it 11K+ kms till date. We did two major tours (one Pune to Karnataka which was around 2000kms in February and Pune to Spiti which was around 5300kms in June) and havent faced any issues (major or minor) till date. You will find all kinds of reviews for Gurkha as goes for any other vehicle (even major brands as BMW, Mercedes etc). Honestly its up to you what you take from the mixed reviews. We are happy with the vehicle and the service provided by the Pune team. The BS6 version is no longer available and Force motors is launching a new version which will meet the BS6.2 norms in 3-4 months. This will be completely different than the BS6 version with the addition of Adblue, an electronic switch for 4 wheel drive and raised control arms etc. So would suggest that let the company launch the new vehicle and see how the reviews are for it and then decide.
Loved it all!!
Well narated, well captured, and the best part Chica and Ash.

How is overall ride in Gurkha? While it is definitely robust, is it comfortable, clutch, gear and all?
