My dream is to be a professional bass modifier. I would love to put mec pickups in a fodera. That's where fodera is lacking there isnt enough sound or growl

It kind of sounded like the MEC had quite a bit more output, is that correct? Did you make any changes to the basses onboard EQ for your clips or was it always flat? Do you know what model the stock pickup was?

Hi Josie i like your playing, and for me MEC is way better; you're getting a more aggressive growl kinda near to a passive Warwick Corvette$$. I made upgrades to my Sterling by Musician Ray4; swap the stock pickup with a Seymour Duncan Alnico V MM pickup and the stock preamp with an Aguilar OBP-2 and i can't be more happy with the results. By the way Josie; I've been watching your videos for a while and I'm not trying to be rude nor disrespectful, because that's not my intention; but ¿are you autistic? I can see some autistic traits in you, or if im wrong; maybe you're just shy, I'm in fact autistic and i get/feel very happy when i meet new autistic people and if they're bass players; wow it's a wonder, cheers ☺️✌🏾

Hey, sorry I never got a notification for this comment. I'm glad you enjoy my playing. I like the growl too, it's probably one of the main reasons I wanted to give MEC a try. I'm not offended by your question at all but no, I'm not autistic. 🤞🏻

​@@JosieTheBassist no worries, and also sorry for the delay from my part, but i was in a very deep and hard burnout for the last 9 months, but i started feeling better since 3 weeks ago. But yeah MEC electronics sound very nice thats why they give the Warwick basses that signature growl, I've always craved for a Warwick Thumb BO 4, but i lean more for a Spector Euro 4lx. Oh i see and I'm glad that i didn't offend you with my question, i understand that being shy and introverted is not an exclusive thing of autism, I'm both autistic and ADHD and the world of bass is one of my biggest special interests that have and it helps me to regulate myself and to cope with my life, salutations and keep rocking 😎🤘🏽
