One of the most fucked up scenes from one of the most fucked up films out there. I mean fucked up in a good way. Frontier(s) is not a film for everyone. There's too much gore and death and shit and the ending is very tragic. It's not for the faint-hearted. Xavier Gens has a similar haircut scene in his other film The Divide, but this one is incredible. It's visually and emotionally stunning and also a great moment for exposition from the girl.

Well.... I have never watched the movie but from what I understand (I am from germany) she somehow landed in this house where there is a master. The girl cutting the hair was taken when she was a little girl and she was told that her parents would come and get her. She was supposed to give the master heirs but their children were "not normal" as she says. The girl getting her hair cut has to get them cut because the master does not like black hair because he thinks it does not represent his race. She also asks the girls whos cutting why she does not leave but the reply was that the girl still thinks that her parents will come for her. The girl who is cutting the hair is also revealing that she was forced to "put her children away" in a Landhouse farther away. She is visiting them as often as she can but IF I understand correctly then the children were murdered there and the girl is mentally unstable. I am sorry if I confused you more but that was all I understood. Also I apologize for my english since I know there are probably quite a few mistakes in here.
