This channel is gold. Just started learning Wordpress and Elementor since yesterday and I am able to understand every single detail in this tutorial. Can’t wait to learn more from you!
sou brasileiro, pesquisei muito como fazer uma timeline no elementor de forma fácil e que ficasse bonita, vi varias opções, mas nenhuma tão boa quanto a mostrada por você, parabéns vídeo incrível! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hi @Web Squadron, thanks for sharing your approach on building a custom timeline without a plugin. Can I make it horizontal and with navigation buttons / arrow for left and right navigation?
@@websquadronthank you, got it, thats smart. And to add something to the timeline is only possible with shortcodes right? Trying to figure out the best solution for not so techy clients. 😊
Great video! Quick question, I might have missed it amongst the frustration of working with Elementor for the first time, but how do I get a photo to appear on the other side of the line? I'm using the icon box method and successfully got the info to appear on the left of the line, but how do I get an image on the left side? Thank you 🙂
Sorry, meant to say "left side of the line" rather than "other side of the line"... images successfully appear on the right side, I need some on the left side now.
thanks for show it. really nice way to get a timeline. first i saw the version with sections. but it is even better with a container but i have one problem, the picture is not going under Header 1, it stays to the right of the headline. what did i miss? could you help me please? update: it works now, forgotten the wrap in the right container
When I click on the add button, instead of a "container" as shown in your video, a section is being added. I don't understand why my elementor interface is different from yours.
Hello, thanks for the tutorial. I saw the unlimited timeline element just before this and this is so useful if someone doesn't have the plugin. However, is there a channel where one could look at building extra features, on an existing plugin (such as ACF or even store locator, jet engines), via code or extra php...That would be so useful than buying more and more plugins.
I am going to make a timeline for a tourist tour from pick up point to return and the points of interest between. If I could I would give Imran the reins as he is a genius website creator. I'll get on with this thanks to this video.
Absolutely great tutorial
I've been looking for this tutorial for weeks. I'm glad I finally found it, it is just what I need.
This is just spot-on, Thanks Web Squadron 🙂

Awesome :)
This video is really helpful for me 🙌🏼
Nice work!!!!
This is exactly what I'm looking for.
Hi! Thanks for a great tutorial. Please can you share the CSS code to drag the heading text up to align with the icon?
Thank you. is it possible create this page ACF? Choosing the position (left or right) and the style of the element (first, last o in the middle)?
Yes with a bit of work.
@@websquadron wow thanks, if you make a video on this topic will be great 😎.
Dope content!!
Thanks sir. This tuto help me a lot
Good video thank you
amazing, thanks a lot.
You're the best
That's creative
is there a way for the website user ad to and edit their own timeline from the front end? Plugin or method?
Maybe with some ACF Front end plugin
@@websquadron can you send me link. I"m not familar with this.
Hi @Web Squadron, thanks for sharing your approach on building a custom timeline without a plugin. Can I make it horizontal and with navigation buttons / arrow for left and right navigation?
In that case, I would build it as a Testimonial carousel with templates inside.

@@danbeutler1472 Yup. Unless they use a plugin.
Can i build it in free version of elementor?
Great video! Quick question, I might have missed it amongst the frustration of working with Elementor for the first time, but how do I get a photo to appear on the other side of the line?

If you increase the container size on the left side then you could add an image.
Very good content!
thanks for show it. really nice way to get a timeline. first i saw the version with sections. but it is even better with a container
but i have one problem, the picture is not going under Header 1, it stays to the right of the headline. what did i miss? could you help me please?
update: it works now, forgotten the wrap in the right container
I have the same problem
What about making the reverse one after another on mobile.like image then content, image-content.
Then you could alter the direction of the containers for the mobile
When I add a photo, like you did in 4:38, it places it to the right of the caption, not below it :(
Have you set the Row to be Wrap?
And adjusted the custom width of the items?
@@websquadron oh i forgot the ro to be wrap. Thank you! Wow so quick response. ❤
Is it possible to do this horizontally, on a carousel?
Technically yes with each one being a template inside a carousel and no gap
i dont have the extra options for container alignment like you show when you click
Did you activate the wrap?
When I click on the add button, instead of a "container" as shown in your video, a section is being added. I don't understand why my elementor interface is different from yours.
Which version of EL are you using and you do have Flexbox activated?
Will this work in Bricks? Many thanks.
Yes, and I'm doing an alternate Bricks video this weekend.
thanks!
any way to make it horizontal
Maybe done as a Free Flow Carousel

More for clients that want a timeline

Are you building it manually?
