i got this board with gateron blacks, brush lubed the switches, tempest and foam modded the case and pcb, got new keycaps, durock stabs bandaid modded and lubed and it sounds like a 300$ custom for around 150$ after parts and lube and such, amazing budget keyboard to mod and i would recommend it for beginners or people who don't want to drop a ton of money ona board
Got one of those Keyboards. I like it. Just ordered some Silver Switches to try. Those switches are dirty cheap. 23 Euros for 70 switches. But I guess I will order a lot more switches if I don't like the silver.
@@YuhHuhNuhUh They are nice. Lubed them and they are pretty smooth. But I switch Keyboards weekly. At the moment I use the Akko 5075 with the Wine Red switches. But I will change them to the Akko Jelly Blues.
I was wondering if you could help. I just received my Sk61 after seeing your review. Great video by the way. However, I have a slight issue with it and I can't figure out if it's a defect. When I tap the keys or the base of the keyboard, I heard a metallic tinging sound from inside the keyboard. Is this something you noticed with yours?

you literally made my purchase decision. i was also going between the white/gray and black/gray version but i decided on the black one. it looks so good in your video. keep up the good content.
can you maka a tilde (~) symbol on this keyboard? this is honestly my only concern buying it because every other key I need it carries already, but the tilde is too important. Also, what would be the shortcut for the tilde? Thanks for the video! Good job!
Hey I scrolled down the comments and couldn’t find one asking this - red, brown, or blue switches? I personally like brown but I’m curious of what you like
I like none. For me linear - gateron yellow. Tactile - glorious panda clicky - box white. I find the basic switches to be boring but if your a beginner then I recommend reds or browns. Blues have a slight rattle that makes it feel less crisp
Have you had a chance to test the bluetooth some more? Any lag or disconnections or issues connecting? Also, how do you like the optical keys compared to normal ones?
Check out bad seed tech on the other Epomaker keyboard, they have the same battery. I like optical switches but kalih box switches are better in my opinion
Great video. Thank you! One question: I noticed that the letters on these keycaps are not transparent. I mean backlight does not go through so I guess you don't see letters in the dark. Am I right? If yes, can I maybe replace these keycaps with some keycaps with transparent letters? Thank you for your answer man!
They might have updated the case on the sk61 by now. I recommend getting the sk61 if you don't need arrow keys bc the standard ansi layout is very convenient
Hello everyone! Would you recommend me buying the black optical switches? I am student who types a lot, and I can type at 110wpm? Would you recommend? Thank you!
no sure but i don't really see the point ? If you're in a wired state why would want a bluetooth connection with its latency and unstability BUT with the wire plugged-in ?
Hey, I would need some help. Does this keyboard come with a wire? @t It says it has some type c interface and I don't know what that is. I really don't want a wireless keyboard since those can have input delay. :(
Yeah for me that's a deal breaker but at the price you can't really complain. Gk64 is good and you could upgrade the keycaps and switches bc it's standard
i have this keyboard and its really good but the rgb isnt the best so if you want nice rgb i would look somewhere else or also youc an get the white version
Don’t ever get discouraged. Keep going.

My understanding is that the PCB used in these doesn't match any normal cases so you can't swap it

They are not shine through so if you want that I recommend buying some that Are And also fit the gk64 layout
u mentioned the case is a bit thicker, so based on build quality alone should I get the sk64 over the sk61? both are the same price in my region
They might have updated the case on the sk61 by now. I recommend getting the sk61 if you don't need arrow keys bc the standard ansi layout is very convenient
tu peux changer juste les keycaps pour le mettre en AZERTY ?

Is it fully hot swappable?

Milo long time no see. Also what do you use to edit videos?
huh, how the hell do you band-aid mod plate-mounted stabilizers?
I know how on PCB-mounted ones but there's no surface area on plate mounts.
put the bandaid on the plate where it meets the stabs. it makes it wiggle less which decreases the rattle.
Hello everyone! Would you recommend me buying the black optical switches? I am student who types a lot, and I can type at 110wpm? Would you recommend? Thank you!
black is more suitable for gaming i guess

Does it go into auto sleep mode even when pluged in wired? Is it usable in dual mode, as in wired and bluetooth at the same time?

you plug the usb to your system unit and then plug your type c to the keyboard
