At one point, the girl who was playing Mrs. Stevenson looked like she was trying to remember her next line. Also, when the kid playing the policeman asked for her address, she gave her phone number instead. And this wasn't a rehearsal, it was the actual play. I'll bet they felt embarrassed later about messing up their lines in front of an audience, especially if their families were watching.
