Don't know about k20 but k20 pros battery doesn't die its a monster 8 hour of sot where i used 4g for youtube n for 2 hours Music and video playback for another hour Again 1-2 hour youtube but with wifi Then 3-4 hours pubg on hdr extreme Still 10% left. Even while gaming outside in the sun max temp was 46-47 And battery drain was 8-10% in an hour while gaming outside Battery is a major plus and the phone has no ads

K20 misses dc dimming and it heat up a bit more when using camera for long periods of time. K20 indian retail version gps performance seems to be much better than other mobile in its price range, i have no clue why it's performing so good on gps side with out dual GPS.

You can wait for 7t if you're not in hurry but it will take some time to launch otherwise K20 pro is also a good device for this price with SD855.

I think the K20 Pro is the better phone and the better all-around deal given the price difference isn't that huge. Maybe the K20 8nm chip means it'll have a longer-term life compared to past mid-range chipsets, but I know the Snapdragon 855 will last a good 2-3 years easily.

Qc 4 is not about speed, its about efficiency (less heat, less battery cell breakdown, etc), so a device having qc 4 certified dont mean that always support 27w, in this case, redmi note 7 support qc4, but only UP TO 18 W So the important thing to look up about charging speed of a device is look at the WATT, not the protocol

As a mi 9t (k20) owner (and i had to make the choice of not buying the k20 pro!!), i agree with ashwin. There's no reason for spending extra money on the k20 pro unless you want to play graphics intensive games like pubg on extreme settings and / or have the mental satisfaction of owning the best processor (for less than 6 months, untill qualcomm brings SD865 !!). On regular usage, the difference is negligible on most cases. And what ashwin has not mentioned here is that the battery lasts longer on the k20, as it has a less power hungry processor. As both of the devices have 1080p screen, you are gonna need a 4K monitor/TV to truely unjoy the 4k videos. And as most people doesn't have 4k monitor, the battle between 4K 30fps and 60 fps is irrelevant for most users. Low light stock camera performance of both devices is shit and xiaomi knows that; that's why they've put camera2 api on both of them so that you can install Gcam. With Gcam, both of them takes exactly the same photo, both on good & bad lighting conditions. Those are way better than the stock camera shot specially in low loght condition. Pubg frame rates are: 30fps (high), 40 fps (ultra), 50-60 fps (extreme). Difference between hd & hdr is unnoticeable on such a small screen as well as difference between ultra & extreme fps. My mi 9t supports only 30 fps (high) on high graphics and as overall smoothness is more noticeable than graphics details , i play on balanced graphics at 40 fps (ultra). I've played pubg on HDR graphics at extreme (60 fps) on my friends k20 pro and i would say my experience on my mi 9t (k20) is almost 80-90% of that. Final opinion: k20 or mi 9t is a better deal than k20 pro considering the price...at least for me.

I don't know why people say K20 has a good built quality. I have oneplus 3T and now i purchased K20 , K20 metal body looks so cheap and it's like oil painted metal, it has sharp edges in cutouts like a sharp edge in type C port or headphone jack, oneplus has smoothen edges. The headphone jack of K20 pro its like a jio phone headphone jack. When u plus in headphone u can feel that it holds headphone so weakly. If u hang the phone with headphone wire it can't even hold it. The sim tray is of plastic and looks so cheap in oneplus u get one piece metal sim tray. The usb cable, vibration motor, network antennas on body etc everything is cheap. There are so many things like that in K20 pro which makes u feel its a cheap built phone.
Bro can you tell us how's the selfie of K20 in night as most of the MI phones does not have good selfie camera only in night else they are super in day light. That's the only question I have if you please answer

I have oneplus 3T and now i purchased K20 , K20 metal body looks so cheap and it's like oil painted metal, it has sharp edges in cutouts like a sharp edge in type C port or headphone jack, oneplus has smoothen edges. The headphone jack of K20 pro its like a jio phone headphone jack. When u plus in headphone u can feel that it holds headphone so weakly. If u hang the phone with headphone wire it can't even hold it. The sim tray is of plastic and looks so cheap in oneplus u get one piece metal sim tray. The usb cable, vibration motor, network antennas on body etc everything is cheap. There are so many things like that in K20 pro which makes u feel its a cheap built phone.
