I cried when I watched this excellent video. Superb. Bob Taylor you totally rock. This was so awe inspiring and motivates me that there are beautiful, educated and cultured people like Bob Taylor. Thanks Bob. BTW I am a PROUD Taylor Guitar owner for over 20 years and more so now! The re-emergence and presevation of Koa wood.

Excellent video and kudos to Bob Taylor for implementing such an important project. When we visited Kauai in 2014, we went into the Koke'e State Park to photograph and video Koa trees for our website. One of nature's most beautiful trees!

The Taylor World Forestry videos are very educational & so entertaining. What an interesting series of documented trips. No wonder Taylor guitars have such a magic sound with tonewoods coming from all over the world. This makes me now often wonder where & what part of the world the guitars in shops are from.

I own a Taylor 214 made out of Koa and it is the most beautiful guitar Ive seen and I am blessed to have it. Love Taylor guitars. Im a big fan of the old Yamaha LL series like LL55 and I was afraid there would be no more highly hand crafted made guitars and Im thankful for the quality Taylors puts into their production of high end acoustic guitars.Wonderful to see this investment being made and thats why Ill continue to support Taylor guitars.

    Hi, Bob! Please read this!!!
I am writing to you from Russia. I have a Tylor T5z 2011 guitar. I'm very pleased with the guitar, but yesterday it stopped ringing. I think the problem is in the electronic book. The light bulb on the tamper switch is off. How to solve this problem?

I wish I could afford a K series guitar but they are outside of my price range. Check out the 224ce k-dlx. It has a solid koa top and layered, I repeat, layered sides and back...not laminated like Martin has been doing. It is actual layered pieces of koa. It costs about 1/3 of the K series and is absolutely a stunning guitar for the price. I highly recommend it.
