[4K] Hello Kitty Shop Tour, join us through the rainbow archway into the super cute world of Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends in this amazing Hello Kitty Store full of fantastic Hello Kitty merchandise including toys, bags, jewelry, gifts and souvenirs
Hello Kitty is located in the Production Central area at Universal Studios, Florida selling a large collection of Hello Kitty merchandise including souvenirs, toys and gifts including Kitty White on various Universal Merchandise such as Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurrasic Park, E.T and more.
There is also the opportunity to meet and greet Kitty White outside the front of the Universal Hello Kitty store.
The Hello Kitty Shop opened in 2016 replacing the Lucy: A Tribute Store and has recently undergone a refurbishment with the Hello Kitty flooring being replaced removing the Hello Kitty bows that were previously there.
Hello Kitty also known by her real name Kitty White is a fictional character created by Yuko Shimizu created in 1974 and owned by the Japanese company Sanrio. Hello Kitty is a white Japanese Bobtail cat with a red bow who lives in the suburbs of London with her family including her twin sister Mimmy who wears a yellow bow.
An indoor theme park called Sanrio Puroland or Hello Kitty Land opened in 1990 in Tokyo. there are also many Hello Kitty cafes and restaurants as well as a Hello Kitty maternity hospital located in Taiwan.
Universal Studios Florida, also known as Universal Studios or USF, is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida. It opened on June 7, 1990, with the intention to provide guests with a behind-the-scenes look at film and television.
Universal Studios Florida is split into different areas, these are:
Production Central
New York
San Francisco
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley and London
World Expo
Springfield
Woody Woodpecker's Kid Zone
Hollywood
Lagoon
Production Central is due to split with the creation of Minion Land on Illumination Ave in 2023 and Woody Woodpecker's KidZone is set to close in January 2023 and construction will begin on a new area.
Universal Orlando consists of two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida which opened on June 7th 1990 and Universal's Islands of Adventure which opened on May 28th 1999 There is also a waterpark, Volcano Bay, which opened on May 25th 2017. A third theme park, Epic Universe is currently under construction and due to open Summer of 2025.
