Seeing RM cry broke me again .. their military enlistment was suppose to start in 2020 with Jin but then they got the song Dynamite and then Butter and so the enlistment schedule kept getting pushed back .. the uncertainity at that festa was heartbreaking .. I cried a lot when I did eventually realise what they were talking about but here we are, just a few more days before Jin is back and to have him meet with fans on Festa is just amazing . So happy for those who can attend .. Nico, Blaze and AJJ, I'm with you guys BTS' comback next year is going to be humongous 100% APOBANGPO 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Joon tried to tell us exactly how burned out he was, but it took 2 albums post this Festa dinner for most of ARMY to allow it to sink in.
Still break my heart seeing Joonie like this. How heavy the burden he carried as leader for Bangtan, but still he thinks about ARMY feeling 1st before his own.

You are correct in saying they hung in there because of Covid. In fact, they were supposed to have a world tour before Covid but it was derailed because of Covid.
I also think the fact that Jin didn't have to enlist in 2020 because of the "BTS law". Everything happens for a reason, I'm glad they hung in there but I'm glad they could take some time. Really really I wish their happiness first 💜
They helped millions of people through the pandemic. I am grateful, I love them so much. Never thought I could love boys from another country so much and appreciate all that they did for me to make it through loneliness, sickness and sorrow BTS, Thank you.

Watched this 3 times on the same day and bawled my eyes out every time. I was so sad but at the same time I know in my heart that it just temporary and I believed in the promise that the best is yet to come. Chapter two has been happening for 18 months now (Jin will be here in 10 days) and the first decision he made is to spend June 13 with the lucky ARMY’s. Who does that? Only Jin!
All the individual record breaking achievements, the projects they prepared for us while they are in MS truly shows the love for us and I love them for that. The best gift I can do to repay them is to respect, support and trust them 100%. Love BTS forever.

Yup he's a Virgo. That's how we do. I just watched for the 1st time kast night. It was heartbreaking.
This one did it for me. When RM cried I was done. I had never seen him cry before. The whole feeling in this Festa was just sadness and confusion. Not sure we're over it even now. We saw their concert in Vegas. And so did you guys!!! What a blessing that was!!! But who knew that would be their last one for all of us!? 😪 Love you fam! Glad we can all share our feelings about this with all of you! 💜💜💜
I remember when this Festa video was posted, I was at my workplace aka the place where I was interning at. I was like lemme save till for dinner time so that I can watch it in peace and yep that's how i ended up choking on my dinner and crying my eyes out. I never knew how Tannies have impacted my life until that night. I called my other army friends and cried with them, I couldn't imagine my life without them. And boom 2nd chapter happened with them having friendship tattoos till them releasing their solos one after the other. Their solos made me realize how different their music colors are and yet they come as one when they're together, Tannies are like one in a lifetime boyband that'll last forever💜
I watched the First ⅓, ran Errands, then came back and finished it.
I remember being so angry when the media took Joonies show of emotion and essentially weaponized it to use against him and BTS, reporting that he was upset because they were " going on a break/disbanding"
I teared up again but I loved the memory. This makes me even more excited for the future; and the immediate future (10 days) will mark the beginning of the guy's return. Thank you so much for always being here. Apo Bangpo
Seeing them tear up and expressing their fear and feel shame in taking a break still breaks me. Namjoon new album really shows a lot of what has been built up for years. I'm glad he is letting it out. Many of them have, and I hope they keep doing just that, expressing their thoughts and unique talent. We are real Army and will always have their backs 💜
Just watched this recently again & it took me back & I bawled like a baby. AGAIN! It hurt me that they had to carry all this without our encouragement & not being able to tell us. You knew that was killin em. Having to hold it in..What tough guys they are.And that whole time still trying to be authentic & real & show us the most they could…This is what strength looks like!!! And that they worried about us? How rare this bond we have. And this love & appreciation should give us all freedom to go find what it is we’re good at & go for it! Try things, even fail, get back up, together, Knowing we all are gonna stick. This bond… it’s one of the most unusual, positive, hopeful, unbelievable, weird, unheard of, phenomenons I’ve ever seen. I’m 61. And this is a beautiful thing to see in a world that ain’t too pretty!

I seriously remember wishing that I could reach through the tv screen and just hug every one of them and let them know that it’s ok to take a break from working and just focus on themselves.They not only needed a break but they deserved it. The fact that they felt that they needed to ask forgiveness from ARMY kind of hurts my heart.But i agree with you guys that I had complete faith and trust in them when they said they would be back together sometime I knew it in my heart that they would do what they say. But I also had this gut feeling that it was more than just them taking a break and stepping back from it all for a while. I had a feeling that they were going to be announcing that they were going to be starting their military enlistments.And I was right.I was actually excited when they said they were all going to release solo albums.I am so excited to see and hear what’s coming out next.

Yeah... but for Suga that is a break. Have you ever seen the man on his "down time"... He's always either in the studio... or at his portable studio. He wanted more time to do that for himself. And wow.... You know. Agust D's music would not normally be my kind of music.... but he made it that. I had to watch it more than once (and I'm waiting on the new CD version to arrive). The first time... I was just stunned... The second time I was feeling it. The 3rd time... I was in it. It was catharsis for him and it became catharsis for ARMY as well.💜

suga RM or others needed break means from BTS. not solo work. BTS as team they needed break. break from busy schedules. solo works members plan things.
I have recently watched this (all of it) again and found it made more sense because of what I know now. Part of the problem was that I had only been ARMY for 4 months and was so sad for me, because of what I'd missed out on in the past and what I'd be missing out on when they announced this. Selfish, I know. The other thing was they didn't even mention the military. I knew the possibility was there, but was hoping they wouldn't have to go. (How very little I knew.) Once they knew they no longer had to find something to say as a group, most of them became inspired to say something as a soloist and the race was on! It's been exhausting and no break at all for me. I've asked long term ARMY if it's always been this busy and they say "NO!" I've caught up on nothing, but I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Seeing SUGA in concert was a high light. I've been told that people do change in the military and I can only hope that the experience will give them a different perspective when they return. Watching this will always be hard for me, but it's such an important event for all of us.
I literally became ARMY after watching this FESTA. Had already started down the rabbit hole but THIS truly made me ARMY!💜
You guys are amazing and so entertaining. I love how you always pay tribute and focus on all the members....2022 was very hard and yes very emotional...but fast forward to now....and the solo albums except for our beloved Worldwide Handsome have been amazing...and of course with our support... I expect the same for Jin. The guys are serving their countries...and doing well! Jin is coming back....and he has definitely made Army proud with his exemplary performance...so we take one day at a time! We support/love all the members...stop the inside bickering and divide about them...because they are a team/represent unity... and we continue to be amazing as a fandom knowing that united we stand...and if divided we will eventually fall! We will also continue to support/ watch our beloved guys do amazing things! 💜♥️🇺🇲

I always knew they needed to take a break at some point, always knew they had to serve in the military, always knew they were going to work in their solo stuff but I still don't understand why this was so sad, I wonder what else was there they were so sad, I don't know 😅

It has been a couple of years since this aired. i have to watch this in chunks even if it is you guys looking back after all that we have experienced in Ch. 2. It is so emotional and heartbreaking to see them go through so much for music and for Army. THANK YOU FOR THIS!
I love you guys!! Thank you so much for doing this. It was so good watching it with you. Not alot easier, I still tear up. Listening to them say knowing what they were still holding back and all that has happened since then is hard. I of course want BTS to come back but I want them to come back AS THEY WANT TO BE. They have had so many new experiences since this break. It has to have affected them in ways. I don't want them to go back to having any restrictions on them. I love and respect each and every one of them as individuals. Peace
I cry when I watch this, especially now after hearing Wrong Person.... Watchign this back then you could feel the pressure and we didn't need to know what it was, it was enough to see Joonie suffering,and now we know, maybe not everythingbut we don't need to, hearing about the turmoil going on inside now hurts me even more. We. ARMY Expect so much from the guys and especially NamJoon As the leader. He was maturing physically, but mentally still stuck in a boy's body after giving up 15years of his life to bring success to BTS. I'm sure he had counseling which helped him to get this far. It must have been hard to trust someone to tell all of his grief andshare his insecurities, but he did it. It eventually all works out in our head and I'm sure his parents helped them a lot too as well as the other members by just staying away and allowing him to evolve. I expect a different Namjoon, and still part of the boy that we have seen... and in all of them. I feel bad for Jin ,leaving the military on the 12th then having to meet the ARMY the next day with no time for family. I hope he gets to cuddle his 2 nephews and love on them. Can't wait to hear the stories. I hope the ARMY will be understanding, I think he needs space to regroup and catch up first. Let's not forget My Hope, Your Hope, J-Hope, is coming back in another few months.

This breaks my heart, Nam has had to carry a backpack full of responsibilities since he was 18, he has carried hate messages from people who to this day make fun of him and his music, his features. Pleople pressure and expectations that they have to be perfect. Also people always compare him with the rest of members, I have seen it, even army does it, when he raps there is always someone who says "the other member is better" when he writes or produces the same thing happened when he dances or sings I just hope that he knows that he is very special and his words have saved or have generated such impact on many of us, I just hope that he knows that in the eyes of many of us he is talented and very beautiful, I cried and still crying for all the things that haters and solo stands write about him on twitter and I ask that if you see these types of comments, you report them and send corresponding emails to hybe... eternal grateful for him and the boys, all of them are so different and unique and full of talented, I hope their time in the military could be a time were they don't have and feel that pressure

I found BTS two weeks before this Festa dinner party. I was so confused and sad to hear them speak like this then I found out they had to do mandatory miliary service. It broke my heart! I wondered if it would be worth it to follow them as a band but here I am two years later still obsessed!! I'm so grateful for all your enthusiastic reaction videos which fanned the flame in my heart for BTS and for ARMY's comments which help me to understand the meaning of many things. WITH BTS TILL THE END

This Festa was hard because I could see how difficult it was for the guys. They might have thought ARMYs would be angry and not support them, which I understand, but we did the opposite. More people are finding BTS and I believe it's because of all the new reactors who stumbled upon BTS, or a member of the group, and then wanted to learn more. I have seen ARMYs repeatedly guide new reactors in a direction that suits their musical taste (because as you know BTS has something for everyone). Over time these reactors have taken the time to learn about BTS and appreciate the incredibly talented guys that make up the group. Many are sad that they didn't know about BTS before their military enlistment but are excited to see them come back in 2025. As the saying goes, BTS gains one fan at a time. My hope is that ARMY will be bigger when the guys come back!
I love these 7 men so much bruh 😩😩💜 they literally saved my life ! Back in the darkest times of my life I had these men . And then I found you three shortly afterwards . Being able to watch bts with you guys has helped me more than you guys know . Depression almost won until I got into this fandom . I’m so grateful to have you guys and bts . It must have been scary back then, not knowing what will happen for real after military. But RM and Suga always speak things into existence. I don't think other groups are this open in expressing... and if they are, they learned it from BTS.
BTS x Army is something very unique and special.
This is a FESTA I've refused to watch since it first aired.... couldn't take it. It's only for you guys that I will attempt it today. 💜 There's so much trauma from it for ARMY. It was trauma for them. Of course we want what is best for them. And I don't regret that they did it this way. They SHOULD be able to talk to us like this. It's just not a day I like reliving... I've preferred looking forward. They promised even then that they were coming back and I just had trust in that even as there was sadness. Looking back today it makes me even more sad because know that most if not all of them are about to go through even more as they re-discover... re-organize... and emotionally decompress their lives. So again I just want to look forward with the knowledge that they are okay... or I think they are. I've been more worried about Suga but still have to trust. UGHHHH.... OK... Let's get this over. 🥹😢😢
Now we know that one of the things they were not sharing is the military and as you all saw in the Mini&Moni music it was quite a big thing in Korea and something that should have been private among the members was all over the place and including in the fandom. And we know they did not say anything here because they wanted Busan concert to be fun and hopeful instead of just tears. I bet there were times when RM was so tempted to just spill the beans and have all of the arguments just disappear. I think they were right to wait Busan was fun and ended hopeful. And yes, what a trip it has been since and Jin is about to make a landing!💜

This was so emotional. RM has been the best leader through and through. His emotional release crystalized what I've known from all the video and edits. They are so special as a group and so beautifully unique in their own individual way. I love these guys and wish them many years of success in whatever they decide to do in life.
I became a BTS fan a few months after this video aired. I remember when Namjoon started talking and choked up, I started crying. It really hurt to see how much pressure they'd been under, and how much fear they had that ARMY would turn on them. I hate that they felt like that, and I hope they feel more secure now knowing that the true fans (which are the majority) stayed right here waiting for them. This idea of people continuously working with no breaks, no holidays, it's like that for normal Koreans from what I understand but even worse for those in the entertainment industry. It's just wrong. Here in Australia we get 4 weeks of paid annual leave credits each year by law. I know it's much less in other countries and more in some places in Europe. But it's not a luxury or an indulgence; it's how you maintain the health, wellbeing and productivity of your workforce and prevent burnout. I really hope the younger generation improve this exhaustion culture in Korea.

The experience they've each had doing their solo projects has truly been amazing for them and us getting to see hear watch them individually experience their music they were ready for it and it definitely didn't mean the end of them..they gave us more to love, enjoy and go crazy for its been amazing soon they'll all start coming home before we know it. I'm so happy to have gotten to enjoy and learn about each of them and I can't wait for what's coming next for each of them and as a group with whatever they decide...my love, heart, support will always be BTS and Army forever 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
OK... I'm back. YEP... you jerks 🤣💜 (said with love)... I knew i would cry and I did. I often thought after this FESTA and if they did it the right way. Should it have been at a FESTA? And it came back as yes. When else would they be able to reach most of ARMY directly and say it directly with all their voices? They had been trying through song for a long time. But ARMY needed the words. And as crazy as the last 2 years has been for them and us.... It just made us closer. We sure didn't lack for content.
I was pretty good with it all until Jimin and JK enlisted and the fact that they were all gone really sank in. Then I had my own little break down. I think it is because for a large number of us... BTS found us at our most broken times in our lives and helped us heal. For me they were like my secret "anti-depressant" medication from a butt load of trauma I had gone though... my house burned down, my husband died, my next home and 90% of my belongings were destroyed, my job changed, I had to file bankruptcy, my parents died.... all within just a 5 year period. If it wasn't for having to care for my kids... I probably would have just given up.
Then in 2014... almost a year exactly after losing my husband.... I was lying awake as usual and so I was watching YT. Because I watched other Korean content (we practiced Korean martial arts)... I guess the algorithm brought me BTS... and BTS brought me a spark to lead me out of the dark It took a bit... and I never really talked about BTS with any of my friends or family because they had no idea really WHO they were or that I had been having a hard time. So I kind of had this second life as ARMY. Then when Jimin and JK enlisted... It shook me because I think I was afraid my secret "happy pill" was threatened.
So I came out on social media with my BTS stuff. My family and friends were shocked. They are still puzzled I think. But my son said.... Whatever makes you happy mom! So actually Agust D D-Day came at a perfect time for me.... because I needed the catharsis as much as Yoongi did.... the same with Jimin and Set Me Free... and now RM's new album. I needed to work through all that stuff that I buried back in 2014 just so I could survive. I couldn't face it then because I needed to stay on my feet, work, and take care of my family. BTS helped me stand up and keep walking back then. So when they took the break to do this... I HAD to also take that break and face things to deal with them.

I honestly daydream of their first concert together. I figure it will be sometime in 2026 as some of them return late in 2025….its going to be hella emotional. I tear up thinking about it.

Anyone who is ARMY knows Rm, Jin and Suga are the last ones to cry but seeing him break like this on camera really opened my eyes. And hearing how "the fans", ARMY, is always put first i honestly dont like that. I could never be disappointed with anything they do bcus they have more guts and courage than me when it comes to their motivations and ambitions. I stan 7 KINGS! As ARMY my only wish is that they take care of themselves and being as burned out as this is clearly he was burdened. Like he said he started out a singer/performer and ended up being a staple in korea and a speaker for the youth and all these other responsibilities followed when all he wanted was to perform and rap. Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Jhope, Jimin, Tae, Jungkook you've all worked so hard for 10 years straight in my mind a long rest is well deserved. I love their consideration and how they love US ARMY but i want them to be kinder to themselves. Allow them to be lazy without feeling guilty or wrong. 💜 I just-.... I want them to be unapologetically happy with any and everything that they do they honestly deserve every bit of peace and happiness. 26:43
Love you, fam, but I can't watch this again. It was my birthday when I saw it first time. My heart was broken and when Joonie cried, I felt so much loss. Still do, in many ways; it was definitely the end of an era that started for me in 2015. Then the Yet to Come mv, and when they were all wrapped up in that No More Dream bus, back to 1, to me it felt like a coffin, a funeral, and saying goodbye. We still don't know what the new era will be like or how long it will last, but if BTS is there, so am I. I hold on so hard to JK singing, "Promise that we'll keep on coming back for more". Don't mean to be a downer, but explaining why I liked, but bailed early. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Jhope usually gets red because he’s drunk so he’s quiet but I love how we’re rewatching this and makes us feel so proud of how much they’ve achieved in chapter 2!😞😭💜
In that moment when RM cried and released all that anxiety I realized how selfish we had been. I cried ugly tears knowing we were all guilty. Always asking for and expecting more. Always more. We forgot they are human too. I realized we all needed a break. We as Army had to go back to the beginning and ask ourselves why we became Army. I think we lost our way just as much as BTS did. When they return they will have an even better Army and they will finally see we will always stand by them. I have to say I am so proud of Army and feel honored to be a part of this fandom. Army stayed and showered them with love and support. They will finally know they have Army for life and their love is not one sided.

We all saw how much joon was suffering last year ,he lost alot of weight and looked so stressed we just wanted him to know how much he helped a lot of people around the world ❤ I actually believe that BTS hiatus was in fact joon's idea because he was so burned out and him holding the most weight in the band they all seemed to agree with him and that's made him feel more guilty and stressed I guess...hope he's happier now ..
