15000 Hz sine tone to test your speakers or headphones.
Humans can detect sounds in a frequency range from about 18 Hz to 20 kHz. (Human infants can actually hear frequencies slightly higher than 20 kHz, but lose some high-frequency sensitivity as they mature); the upper limit in average adults is often closer to 15-17 kHz. If you “hear” frequencies lower than 18 Hz, you might just be hearing harmonic distortion.

I've been hearing this since 2016 and it became louder last October. It's a mindfkkk as acceptance is the best way to ignore it, but it's driving me crazy sonetimes.
Cricket sounds seem to mask this frequency a bit. Any tips are most welcome though.
