I don't really even know what to say when I hear Sohyang sing. I've never heard her equal, ever. I have never even heard anyone _like_ Sohyang. I think when she was recovering from her cancer surgery at age 20 and decided with determination that she was going to dedicate her life to singing for the dispossessed and needy, that God took notice of that and was so pleased He added extra musical and singing ability to her. (That is my personal explanation because there is no one else who could have given her such ability.) Like where did this woman come from? We often joke that she is an alien from outer space somewhere. But her abilities are so far above anything we have ever heard, we enter into a mental vacuum and grope around with no reference points. It is as if we are blinded by her _absolute mastery_ of all the vocal skills a human is capable of--and way beyond that as well. Anyway, Sohyang is simply dumbfounding and that is all there is to it. 🤷♂💖💖💖

@@alonsoreacciona Sohyang es una mujer que ha sobreviviente del cáncer más su devolución como cantante Cristiana aparte del don que tiene como cantante y la capacidad de transmitir emociones con su canto pienso que una enfermedad así y que eres sobreviviente ablanda mas como persona apresar de ya ser alguien devoto de corazón yo la amo por esa luz que ella tiene.

If I can offer some technical advice Alonso. If you are going to feature Sohyang's video in a box that stakes out the majority of the screen's width, you must move your head and body outside of it. Otherwise you are blocking about 1/4 of the Sohyang video and that is not a mistake that you need to make. Just move you head and body completely off the area that Sohyang's video occupies and all will be well. Don't worry that you will only be on the far left of the screen. It doesn't matter. It will look just fine to us. 👌😉

김소향 (Kim, So-hyang) is a South Korean singer who uses 소향 (Sohyang) as her stage name. She's up there with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Céline Dion, according to David Foster, who worked with all of them, plus other big names in the music industry, such as Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. In fact, many vocal coaches and critics call her the Queen, and Dimash the King.

BTW, Whitney's former manager saw the DMC Festival video of Sohyang singing "I Have Nothing", and contacted Oprah Winfrey, who in turn, contacted David Foster. They were all amazed. Foster invited Sohyang to sing on his tour in Asia. She did 8 shows in 4 days in Tokyo. He and his ex-wife wrote that song. He co-arranged and produced it for Whitney for her album, and her performance in "The Bodyguard". Foster has won 16 Grammy Awards, including 3 for Producer of the Year, and has been nominated a total of 47 times.
