  • This robotic automation cell depalletizes trays onto a conveyor that carries the trays into a UV tunnel. The trays will pass through the UV tunnel and stay in for 2 secs each with a dosage of 20,000 microwatts/cm2 to kill any contaminants such as E. Coli, Salmonella and Listeria. After the trays pass the UV tunnel, there are 3D cameras that do vision inspection, down to 4mm, for any leftover contaminants. If any are detected, the trays get rejected before being filled. A Thermoformer feeds cups into the line to fill the trays. Once the trays are filled, they are conveyed to the robotic palletizing section of the cell before being transported by a AMR (MiR) to a wrapper automation cell.
