This is such great advice for Iroha, coming from someone as experienced as Suisei in making that many orisongs. And I'm sure the Kazamatai will love whatever she decides to put out anyway!
Sui has been on that music artist grind since the beginning, trying and failing many times, yet continuing to persevere until the present day. I have a lot of respect for both her and the advices/wisdom she has to offer
I'm so glad to see her getting a push in this direction. Iroha's voice might naturally fit with something cutesy, but when she pulls it that little bit lower the quality it takes on is chilling. I don't know if it is the voice itself or if it is the extra effort and interest in those parts showing through in the end result, but either way I want to hear more of it.
Agreed on the point Suisei made, someone who speaks with a cute voice normally can have a totally different singing voice. Even in hololive itself there's probably quite a few examples.
The biggest examples I can think of would be Chloe's pon/cute streaming voice who goes absolute diva while singing, Towa's growly rock singing compared to her higher pitched talking, and Risu, depending on if she's singing as Ayunda or as Risu.
Very much depends on the person, though. Some people just have more range than others. And for some of them (speculatively, because I'm not here to be one of those "rEaL vOiCe" people) they sing in a more natural voice while putting on a voice for streaming, or vice versa. That said, there are so many examples of people singing in a genre that their voice isn't typical of and thriving in that genre.
i think input from fans is valid reasons, but if its not fit to your ideals, it will go harder later, suisei is also valid, do what u wanna do, and better if its from heart, because song is about the feeling and soul when you sing afterall
To paraphrase from a story point in d4dj. Iroha doesn't sing irohas songs. What iroha sings ARE irohas songs. So anything she sings will be an iroha song
Great vid! I didn't catch the NHK radio so this is amazing! I love how you get clips from so many different sources thank you for the clip! Just one thing though, Iroha's channel redirect says "Shigure Ui Ch" I'm assuming this isn't intentional.
Receiving a musical advice direct from your oshi has to be one of the best feelings ever
This samurai is winning so much
Not just advice but a big compliment too? What a win.

I agree ! I'm sure she would nail it anyway, she puts a lot of effort in it !

I mean suisei was one of them pre-throat problems. I remember the whiplash I felt when I first watched her karaoke back in like 4 years ago

The -nin'nin- samurai just keeps on winning
No matter how much time passed, she will always the coolest, cutest, and cheerful samurai.
everyone's so amazing in hololive!
iroha very happy hoshiyomi.
I agree with Sui-chan's advice
Sui, like a true comet, brings inspiration to people
(before crashing down to earth and ending the dinossaurs forever)
Damn Suisei knows about Reol, so based.
it goes without saying but they really ARE good at communicating
Wishing you the best Iroha-dono 🙏

A true assassin giving the up and coming ninja some skills to end her fans with beautiful music.

Suisei mentioning Reol was not on my 2024 list. They are my two fav Japanese artists
I watch too many meme lately, I can only imagine Suisei saying "Imaginary technique: Purple"
Acoustic Pop would fit Iroha
