Bro, I mean exactly like ceramic rings have a life cycle of 6 -7months. Ada bio Rio says they are for file time. You did not mention till when will it be efficient. Thwr fore a 1 year review would be great.. I am currently using Ada bio Rio , puregen in 2 canister s. Thanks for answering ...cheers
How long a filter media will be usable depends on a lot of different factors that it makes it impossible to estimate. It will last longer if you take care of it, making sure the water it already pre filtered before it gets to the media.
I am using ADA Bio Rio as well as Seachem matrix in my both 304A sunsun.for 2* 70G tank.should i mix with it.please let me know the is it for life time uses or need to be changed after certain times.
Good morning sir My discuss are not eating last few days I already use your method of metrogil process but still they are not eating what should I do now please help me sir I am new in discuss..
Thank you... See if the media is maintained well it will last for a much long time.. And also this media is made differently you can read the data sheets
Dear Sir, I have following questions in my mind, 1. Neo soft media reduces the PH to what extend? 2. Which should be used for normal tap water PH range between 5.5 to 6.5, Neo Soft Or Neo Pure? 3. What is the Maximum Life for this Medias? 4. In Sunsun 302 Canister filter, in which tray, Mechanical filtration Sponge should be kept, in Bottom tray or Top tray? Your early reply will be highly appreciated... Thanks❤🙏
Hello Sir, I've a male Betta Plakat (Jewel) the very first fish I own & since yesterday it's sitting at the corner/hiding behind the filter or plants, only comes up for breathing. Today morning I've observed some swallon part right below her eyes where Betta's stomach is exactly, thought could be an issue of Constipation and gave mashed peas to eat but he is not eating at all. The colour of my betta is fine as of now except fins (Fins are not stretched I would say they are kind of stick to each other and folded). There could be chances that If I wouldn't treat him ASAP he will start losing its colour day by day. Can I have some tips or medication process from you to follow to save him. I don't want to loose him. Thanks in advance. 👍🏻
Firstly I would like to see the fish.. Without seeing it I cannot suggest anything.... Please follow our Instagram page and send me a video along with what you have been feeding the fish...And next time please comment on a betta fish video....
Natural thing is best I have a 4 feet marine tank I trust and depend more on natural rock ( daed ocean rock , now it's live ) rather than this ceramic medias Yes I have ceramic media in my sump filtration system like mantis bio bricks, ceramic balls , red ceramic rings . But I prefer natural things more than artificial For freshwater , I will suggest lava rock . It's cheap and super effective bio media . All ceramic medais are able to perform nitrification ( ammonia to nitrite , nitrite to nitrate ) but not generally denitrification ( nitrate to nitrogen gas ) . For that process, you need indepth anoxic zone where anerobic bacteria can live and do denitrification. That's why I prefer natural media more. It's do all ( both nitrification and denitrification ).
@@rajivkhanna7801 Yes Not according to me , it's fact It works same as saltwater aquarium rocks or ocean rocks.. ( the upper surface hosts aerobics bacteria and performs nitrification by aerobic bacteria , but the deeper anoxic zone of the rocks hosts anoxic bacteria and performs denitrification ) And use of lava rocks in aquariums is very old concept , even before these branded ceramic medias come in market . Ceramic bio media concept is very new - probably a decade ( 10 yaers ) old ..
Hi Sir, I have an aquarium of 2.5 ft tank with Black Ghost Knife Fish. I want to know that the water in the tank is a bit cloudy, can I add API Accu-Clear to remove this cloudiness. Whether this API Accu-Clear will harm my Black Ghost Knife Fish.
I am already using it in 4 ft cichlid tank, it's really awesome.

Better buy api bio media from mayur dev's yt channel. It'll last for a year
@@umairmehdi9449 but doesn't ge say it lasts forever? ADA and api's bio media have no expiry.

If maintained well every media will last long

It's for soft water.. but this doesn't reduce the hardness...

Same filter I'm using.. Did you try this filter media??
Use mechanical first then the bio media and at the end chemical filteration like purigen gives the best result.

BioHome also sends “Gel Filter Starter Balls “ bacteria which reacts with water/ammonia and BioHome Media to help kick start the cycle.
