Just a note - A little had to be chopped through YT for copyright music at the start of Chapter 4 ( 19 min mark ) about a minute removed, but does not take away from the basis of the segment. Slight introduction was missed! Just wanted to point it out for the random jump cut!
That nightclub fire was one of the biggest national tragedies that happenel in Russia, and the fallout after that was major. The whole regional government got fired, 2 fire-safety inspectors who checked the building got 5-6 years in prison, the owner of the club got 10 years, workers who set up the fireworks got 5 years each etc. The whole investigation took 3 years. There is now a memorial there, and "The day of the fire" is a regional "day of mourning". It also triggered a big wave of reforms in fire safety regulations, which led to closure of almost 20% of all nightclubs in the country. There is a big wikipedia article about it, "Lame horse fire", although the russian version of it is much better and more specific on the fallout after the tragedy, resignations etc, and has better photos of the aftermath and the memorial.
Nagzz, I want to point out an inaccuracy during the Dry Ice video, you *will* notice suffocating from CO2. CO2, when it accumulates in your body, combines with water and creates carbonic acid. That's why when you hold your breath it starts to hurt after a while. With things like Nitrogen, there is no reaction like that, so you eventually just pass out without ever really noticing anything other than shortness of breath. The chemical burns described in the video is because for CO2 to freeze it needs to be -109 degrees F (-78 degrees C).
So a chemist doesn't realize what dry ice is or what happens when it vaporizes, vlogs the whole ordeal, then remarries within 5 months. Yeah, she's either in a gulag or bribed the cops/courts to stop investigating because she's guilty.
Oh no, time for more sadness, shock and depression. Watching this video though really makes me appreciate how good of a person Nagzz is through the reactions he has.
Holy shit, I was a bit shocked when you suddenly mentioned my town! There are a lot of old untouched/preserved buildings from the alamo era that stand today, all of em haunted. I'll never forget walking through the old town strip (they are uninhabited) at night with my family not exactly realizing where we were, just marveling at the old houses and we looked into one of the darkened windows on the second floor only to see a pale face staring back us. Froze us in our tracks and then quickened our step on the way out! hahaha
We have a similar thing in Asia with the 13th floor being missing because of bad luck, but here it's the 4th floor since in Chinese the word 4 (sì) is similar to death (sì).
Hey nags to answer your question about dry ice some grocery stores will let you have the stuff they get sometimes it's in the trailer the meat gets delivered in or the truck that delivers the bag ice if your store doesn't make and bag their own ice another common way to get dry ice is getting food grade fire extinguishers you know the ones with the big Goofy cone on the end and putting like a pillowcase or one of the custom-made bags you can find online over the tip and discharging the fire extinguisher by doing so you're making dry ice just make sure you have the right type of fire extinguisher if you do that's
Loved the video @Nagzz! Can't wait for the next video man! I had noticed the Introduction and music Cuts in the video as well and was wondering what happened there. For the two incidents in Russia, I had remembered that Dry Ice gives off Noxious Fumes when doing the Smokeshow with Water, but not which particular fumes. I would think that if Russian Authorities had investigated the Death of Yekaterina's Husband and not found anything to convict Her on that they would determine that the Smokeshow was His idea and then look to see what his job was and how much knowledge he had about Dry Ice and Water and then say that it was his idea from the Start and Yekaterina had absolutely no idea about what he was planning, this was as the British would say "Death by Misadventure" or an Accidental Death. Although, Wouldn't it be interesting to see a Fire Extinguisher the same shape and size of an M2 Flamethrower from World War Two using Water and Dry Ice? Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! Also, Most Building Codes are based on the Geographical and Popular Environments of the Areas they are in. So California's Codes take into account all the 7.6-8.0+ Earthquakes they get while Most Everybody else eastwards has Tornado and Hurricane Related Codes. So you can imagine everyone's reaction when we felt the 7.6 Magnitude Earthquake from Louisa County, Virginia back in 2010. Whilst nothing was really damaged, The fact that we had an Earthquake on the East coast of Magnitudes only known in California was very Startling to say the least.
My dad actually works for a dry ice company so we always had access to it. If I remember correctly, you have to call a dry ice company and order it. The only thing is that you have to have the right kind of vehicle and container for it. You can't drive with it in an enclosed space. You will suffocate...as you saw. It's pure CO2. Also, it's so cold it can burn you (frostbite)... That's the other thing. So gloves are a necessity!
I remember the Great White incident years ago to many people in a small club and pyrotechnics always a bad mix. The video from Russia reminded me of that. Incredibly sad all the way around.
25:13 I can confirm that "Lame Horse" club incident in Russia was very tragic. Every news channel was very local about it. There was even 3 days of mourning in this period of time after the incident.
We also had a Nightclub fire incident in the Philippines back in the 90s (Ozone Disco Fire), was way too young when it happened but I remember watching a local Investigative docudrama and it had an episode about that fire, and the biggest detail about that incident I remember is that the place only had one exit and it only opened inward. When panic set in during the fire, everyone got trapped because of the door.
I think it depends on the person, but for freestyle I find that more people are to say something sus in a sexual way not a violent way. In regards to the dry ice, another thing that requires ventilation is painting, fumes are no joke and if it's spray paint it also releases organic vapors that can cause cancer.
Ilovepancakes loves a little bit more than just pancakes lol also the fire and pool stories are sad and terrifying also she waited 5 months to get remarried wow such a long time💀
Should be fixed, but there was some YT editing that had to be done due to copyright music so probably had some mess ups during the editing phase while live. Seems to be all fixed now an I addressed in the pin! Sorry about that!
as tragic as these vids are - sometimes they are also a great examples as of why there is a darwin award - holy shit just sometimes pls jsut sometimes think agian befor doing stupid shit
First off for the carbon dioxide part, it's is exstremly dangerous especially in a closed space, as your not build to register inhaling oxygen, but instead you register that your exhaling carbon dioxide. Dryice is fine in a small dosis with ventilation for ambiance in forexample plays. Second off for the missing daughter and mother, there's a good chance that they faked it, either by knowing that they were surveyed and knew the cameras positioning so that they could climb off the building, or got help by a resident(considering their circumstances and what not)
That's CO, not CO2. The main danger is that you breathe in CO2 instead of O2, causing you to asphyxiate. CO2 can also have toxic effects though, most notably dropping the pH of your blood when it dissolves.
Not gonna lie, having the latest clip submitter's name on the bottom right AND it being "Parapa The Nappa" brings a Whole Different Kind Of Mood into this video 😅
With the Taiwanese mother and daughter missing, what is the chance that they disappeared into the elevator shaft. Either above or the bottom of the shaft? It's said that authorities and such had inspected everywhere, but how well did they actually search?
That's what I've been thinking too, but I'm not exactly a genius, so if I thought of that then surely they must have too, especially considering they have re-investigated the place more than once.

Still takes a bit, and you might pass out before even experiencing it.but would explain the pain some of them suffered
@@MortZar right and if you were immersed in it, you would pass out way before that because of the lack of oxygen
14:24 also a little note in this point of time here, carbon dioxide is not produced. Carbon dioxide is already there.
@@itsgonnabeanaurfromme I think he worded it like "ice melts and produce water." with "dry ice sublimes and produce CO2."
So a chemist doesn't realize what dry ice is or what happens when it vaporizes, vlogs the whole ordeal, then remarries within 5 months. Yeah, she's either in a gulag or bribed the cops/courts to stop investigating because she's guilty.

The Russia pool story is such a Russian thing of being both extremely dumb but also extremely deadly.
13:05
When I saw that part of the clip, I instantly blurted out “In an enclosed Space?!”
29:36 Why was there a black screen and silence for a second?
For the spooky factor.
I was wondering this too

How is this in regards to the dry ice? You're talking about painting.
27:54 so right. Like why do people feel the need to scream? There is danger and you need to get out why scream and make everyone panic?
First time watching here, you actually react to the content and give feedback on it, Respects 100% :)
Thank you!!!
Dry ice is a terrifying substance skin contact alone will you give high degree frost burns.
I think that black screen at 29:36 was cause of a Sub Alert I did during the video LMAO. Look mom, I made a YT video get censored :^)
The fourth video makes me think of the elevator game.

27:47 weird black screen cut there, and also a few other cuts without Nagzz finishing speaking. Was that intentional or just a mistake from editor?

The elevator doesn't go to the roof itself. Hallway cameras would capture them actually going near the elevator.
