      You should take things as "what you could accomplish if you just practice for years" instead of taking it negatively. I'm always fascinated when hearing someone professional play because I know that if I keep on going and don't stop practicing, I will someday reach this level of virtuosity. ;-)

    • @waidi3242
      @waidi3242 4 года назад +6

      It should inspire you ...
      And to say, that he is not learning the piece day to day, he already mastered them years back, now he is just "showing" his skill. But i don´t think some of his videos are 100% legit, since he can play La Campanella almost without mistake, and he f**ks up friska part in this piece? For piano prodigy like that it should be easy, he is just so unconsistent while playing this. And you can even see so many mistakes. He is not live, he has infinite tries, but it seems he can´t do it better.

    Hungarian rhapsody no 6 is more than just music for me. This piece is one thing that helps me in many difficult situations. When I heard this piece first time...I think, I was the happiest man in the world and the climax of this composition is one of the best part of music that I have ever heard. And after this wonderful piece Liszt had become my favourite composer.
    So, HRno6 is one of my favourite pieces, no, one of my the most favourite things in this world.
    Thank you , Traum. You played it so clean, so delicate. Frankly speaking, I can't say that your execution is the best execution for me, but it is also amazing and unique.

    This was the first Liszt rhapsody I heard as a child. As with the Chopin Waltz in A Flat, my first recording was made in my institutional dorm from a little transistor radio to my stand-alone cassette recorder. Thanks for such a lovely, reckless, informal interpretation. It's not what I'd want in the concert hall or on a CD (I'm used to hearing it with far more colour now) but you're playing for our living-rooms, offices and mobile devices. Perfect.

    So, I watched both yours and Rosseau's versions of this piece. I love both interpretations! I think I like yours better and here's why: I feel like you didn't rush through the animato section, and therefore, could actually hear the amazing chord progressions that Liszt is most famous for. You changed the rhythm in the andante part which was also a very nice and melodiously slow build-up to the animato portion. Rosseau is talented, no question, but I've noticed a tendency to rush through certain parts of more aggressive pieces. I like that you tend to do the opposite with it and play the notes deliberately and with a bit more clarity. Overall, it should be clear by now, that I'm a huge Traum fan, and watch you pretty religiously. I often watch your hands, and use them as a guide when I do my finger exercises, because your fingers stay limber and loose (along with those elbows!), and that's something I struggle with. Also, when your in the 2nd movement, and the tempo increases (During the mezzo forte section where he starts the main theme), how do your hands stretch like that?? Do you just play it as a roll of the two notes (kinda played like grace notes in a way)? Because sorry, my hands don't stretch that far.... Anyway, thanks for this. I appreciate you and your fantastic music. truly, an inspiration to me, and have helped me in my own musical journey in re-discovering my passion for classical music!

      The coda of this piece is supposed to be violent and extremely fast though..

    • @christopherpericolosi-king4979
      @christopherpericolosi-king4979 4 года назад +10

      @@SimonJack94 I agree but it's open to it's own interpretation. I think Liszt would be proud of this performance. It gives it a different feel, playing it with less emphasis on the coda and more deliberation on the notes themselves. Liszt was somewhat of a show off, tbh, but can't blame him.

      but however, rousseau followed the composer's sheet music and played it dead accurate. i also think that the amount of sustain traum put in the piece made it sound weirder. (weird yet amazing at the same time.)

    I recommend everyone who is playing for fun to play this piece. Like when i started it (5 months ago) I was only able to play op 23 no 5 at concert lvl so this piece was wayyyy too hard for me but I gave it a try and now i can almost play it at his lvl. And guys its sooooo much fun. Like there is other piece I have ever played (I got a repertoire of 1- 1/2 hours) that was so much fun. It was hard to learn it but especially the 4th part is fun on a different lvl
