    Aniko, I used your instructions to redo my popped hammock using 300 pound test braided red and white plastic rope and now use a pull rope to a nearby tree to rock myself in it! Thank you very much for showing me the way to do it!

    • @dobiaszaniko
      @dobiaszaniko  4 года назад +1

      Hi, everything depends on the rope. If it's thick then you need more. I would say 12 meters for each folded half that's 6 meters. You need att least 150 meters. Also depends on how many stripes you want. It can be loose och tight. The hammock can be between 2-2.5 meters.
      You're welcome 🙏

    • @darksorceressharuko
      @darksorceressharuko 7 лет назад

      Simply do a metric to imperial converter. 10 meters comes out to roughly 32 ft. I'm a shorter person so I'm using a flat 30'. Also is easier to measure out, just use measuring tape to get your first ten feet, then double it over twice. There, thirty feet.

    • @niagaramike528
      @niagaramike528 Год назад +1

      It's a little late but my take on the measurements are 2 dowels, 1 meter long each and 10 ropes, 9 to 10 meters long each. The other numbers are imperial equivalents, 3 feet 3 inches long for the dowels and 29 to 33 feet long for the rope
