    Should've used the rapier instead of estoc because it has a higher crit modifier, even if it is a bit shorter.

      @@axofrogl I used it here and there. Estoc is just my favorite thrusting sword, it’s R2 is a nice mixup. Frozen needle was interesting to use as well!

    If you want to make this build even saucier, use the Carian Sorcery Sword as your main hand weapon on a Dex/Int build. You get powerstancing, dagger parry, and sorcery casting on a single set up. Also, the CSS has increased critical rating so your ripostes are still powerful.

      That definitely a weapon I need to check out. Honestly forgot all about it. Next time I do a Dex/Int build that’ll be in rotation

      @@vince_9643 Give that CSS+Main-gauche set up a try, it made me a believer in both thrusting swords and parrying, two things I was very iffy on before.

    I’ve been wanting to try this for a while! I love the historically accurate looking weapons & i’ve read that this dagger gets the same parry frames as the buckler, not sure if it’s true but super cool if so!! this is what the parrying dagger should have been, but I prefer the look of this one so i’ll take it :3

      Iirc dagger parries get 1-3 less parry frames than the buckler does so they’re pretty close. I agree this weapon looks sick! Plus dagger/weapon parries always look so clean when they land

      @@vince_9643 nobody online seems to be able to agree but some are saying it’s better than other daggers! i’m not good enough at parrying to give it a fair test though 😆

      @vince_9643  2 месяца назад +1

      @@pvt-part it should behave the same as all the other daggers unless I’m mistaken. I do think it’s better than most when used as a parry tool if you plan on using a crit focused build. Damage isn’t bad on it especially when paired with a rapier

    So many people just one handing their two handed weapons in this vid. So painful to watch.

      In PvP you do use your dual wield setups with just one hand sometimes to deliver quick attacks. It's a pretty common thing at a higher level e.g. when dual wielding straight swords it helps to have a very fast R1 to then be able to follow with L1s. In particular, two R1s can combo into an L1 due to how the animation plays, pretty similar to how light greatswords do it. On top, some crouch attacks like again, straight swords, add interesting variations on a moveset, like a poke.
