I like the traditional warband the most, with the concept of a tribe always being nearby with them. Sounds cool, I'm currently building a std army around the warcry warbands with the idea being that it's only the will of my daemon prince and his two chaos lord brothers (see my own comment for details) who keep these different warbands from ripping each other to pieces

Is it ever discussed how there are enough free peoples in the world to supply these armies? I would think humans would just say fuck it and not bother procreating.

I disagree because it goes against the theme of chaos gods being more divided and independent of each other in AoS unlike the semi-unity of 40k. I'd be down for demon princes of lesser chaos gods tho.
@@placeholdername3818 they have no unity at all in 40k. They are the same in both 40k and fantasy. I don't see a reason for someone in AOS not to join chaos. The choice is either get fed into the desperate war effort of Sigmar, becoming a foot grunt or a stormcast whose fate is just to keep dying until they get locked away by their so called brethren, or take the one in a million chance that you could become immortal, and find a way to bend the world to your own will.
Probably the ethical concerns, I mean I doubt that everyone is going to be cool with blood sacrifice and intentional spreading of Plague and rampant murder. Also so far AOS Chaos seems to be playing on the same level as everyone else, in 40K and Fantasy Chaos was treated like the inevitable end of everything because Chaos doesn’t really have any logistical constraints, beyond the Deus Ex Machina of the Votrex in Fantasy and Blackstone Pylons in 40K preventing the Chaos Gods from using console commands to spawn an unlimited amount of demons to Zerg rush the entire universe, while in AOS Chaos actively seems to attempt to take territory and hold it while facing opponents that actually make incursions in Chaos Held territory and actually manages to hold it, so betting all your hope on Chaos isn’t the best option, so far the War for the Mortal Realms is anyone’s game.
Lore question: All of the chaos followers are on the path to glory. We can even say that Archaon himsefl is on his very own path to glory. Yet his is unique in a sense that instead of becoming an immortal servant of the Dark Gods, he strifes to become a god himself. My question is: do you think that we will ever see the Three-eyed King achieve his goal? I do realize that this could mean the end of Mortal Realms, yet I really want to witness that, also because taking to account Archaon disgust towards any gods, if he became a diety, he could be something that Malal was soupposed to be (if he was canon). He could be a god of disbelief, now hellbent on erasing any trace of any gods from Mortal Realms for good. The problems that could arise from this would of course be a drastic change in his relations with the Ruinous Powers and the obvious fact that right now, only character that lorewise can rival Archaon's power is Sigmar himself, but if the Bringer of Endtimes would ascend to Godhood, there is a chance that he could be unbeatable. But still, I can imagine him becoming a sort of chaos god (ironically), now only able to manifest a shard of his power in Motral Realms in a form of an Avatar. What is your opinion on the matter?
I doubt that this will ever become reality. Even though he is the highest mortal servant of the gods, he isn't warpspawn. His power is not his. It is loaded to him. He only exists as a servant and he will eventually fall to the chaos gods shemes.
The Path of Glory is just the most dangerous take on "Sempai notice me" isn't it?
It’s hard to say no
I'd do anything for "NURGLE-SAMA"
Jet Dailo PRAISE SENPAI NURGLE AND HIS DUMMY THICCNESS
Why would you say something so controversial yet so true?
4 chaos gods? the great horned rat is very salty!
I think there are 8.
One for each point, with one great singular chaos god in the middle

A very extremely awesome video as Doug. And the armies of Chaos in 40k, fantasy and age of Sigmar are very endless in size.
