at 8:26 at first I was confused why no KO punch right away, but then I recalled he needs at least 30% to be completely certain it'll kill something as fat as DK.
That was a filty 30% set-up... holy shit.
Johnobo for some characters you won't kill them with the KO punch if they have VERY little damage, DK had 0% at that point, so the things the Little Mac did there were for that reason.

• Short hop dancing blade to nair and jab is a good frame trap that can be repeated.
• The second and third to last hits of the upper variation on dancing blade can lead to a grab.
• Grab release to dancing blade is a fantastic mix up.
•Up B is GREAT out of sheild.
• And if you use the second to last hit on the downwards variation of dancing blade, you will usually get a tipper on the last hit if you go back to the standard variation on the last hit!

Command Shoryuken gives 6 frames of invincibilty when the move starts. The collision detection *was* working, it's just that Ryu was invincible when the attack should've hit.

Yeah, Sonic Battle had a very similar song, but this one used was definitely not from Sonic Battle itself. I did have the same exact thought though since the song you're thinking of is one of my favorites from that game.
