this will never be explained in the anime, but hisoka has an additional hatsu ( ability), he can change the texture of things of his choosing, such as skin, paper or ink + 997 more things according to togashi ( the author ), so he's pretty versatile
I wonder why Gon still looks so normal at 9:36. We know that he basically isńt more like a shriveled up piece of coal later on (in the hospital) but in Palms flashback his skin looks still normal and he is also not as thin as later on
I'm so happy you guys noticed Meruem's new speed and mentioned Gon's. Everyone else keeps saying adult Gon was weaker than pre-rose Meruem but people need to remember that when the king fought Netero he can see his movements but not exceed his speed so he needed Netero to make a mistake to disable him. Also if you can remember, when the chairman attacked Pitou he/she was able to see Netero's movement too but when Pitou attacked Gon he/she couldnt see him at all and thought that he was gonna go to the king and just that simple feat tells that he is a lot faster than Netero. Also Gon already incapacitated Pitou with a single kick while Meruem delivered a strike meant to kill him/her but Pitou was fine.
@@eagleeye8686 It took repeated punches to kill Pitou, not just 2 moves. Killua saw the light coming from several punches before he arrived and according to the narrator came in at the finishing blow.

Meruem may have intended a killing blow but he clearly wasn't trying too hard, especially since everyone else around him died fairly easily he likely didn't think he had to. They purposefully made to get him out of the mission to move the plot
Post nuke king smack buffed up gon like a child any freaking day. he's like triple his previous strength plus new abilities from pouf and youpi. gon got no chance. don't overrates that form of his too much. remember that pitou never see the new king's form.
if only the lizard guy was a frog or whale or something that doesn't have to breathe that much then he would be able to pretty much infinitely be invisible
