    I love the 73 446 i have because of how simple they are, but theres no compairison between a jd and a case (exept maybe the later case ingersolls). From the 430 i had to the 1968 JD 110 i have now. They just feel smoother and more solid. Also the weight compairison alone is huge lol.

      Case is very simple and stronger, the Case Ingersoll are hard to beat for heavy duty work. Prefer them for hard work myself, had lots of different Deeres to over the years and smooth machines for sure. Mowing the Deeres may get around a bit smoother and faster, power steering on both is nice, but nice the 318 it was standard! But the Case Ingersoll cut is hard to beat. 73 446 a brute for sure but yes a bit crude as was the times but the 80s and 90s Case ingersoll have improvements and upgrades from over the years and bit more user friendly, smoother and other improvements. The Case Ingersolls with 3 point options,pto etc get heavy fast for sure. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

      @@caseingersolltractorsnortheast yeah totally agree the case is crude but no doubt tougher
      Especally that cast iron rear housing. If im not mistaken most if not all of jd garden tractors have aluminum rear housings at least the 3xx and 4xx series do. No doubt from seeing the 6xx and 4xxx series case's you showed in your video they look like they came along way for sure. Also love those olde 2 strokers. Idk if i would wanna run a 71 series all day, but have driven a couple 92 series and they had a bit deeper tone so a little more tollerable lol. For a toy to hotrod around in the raspy bark of a 318 through a set of 5" pipes is pure music. 👍😎

      @@jimbo8v92 Agree ya had a few different models straight piped, the 71 and 92 did have different tones for sure and if pulling you really did have to drive them luike you were mad at them to get em to work lol, kinda like puttin a little leather to a lazy pulling horse lol... They were fun and a sound of their own, Im a Cummins guy at heart nothing like a Big Cam and straight pipes and Jake to toss ya through front window on A Cummins lol! Nothing wrong with a old Cat either, I guess anything loud strong and old I love. Maybe why i Like the Case Ingersolls so much lmao. Have a good one man!

      @@caseingersolltractorsnortheast im 100% with you on that man. If its old, mechanical, and loud im into it 🤣. I was preactically raised in a r model Mack and rode in and drove a ton of different trucks so i honestly cant pic a favorite as long as there mechanical. Talking about 400 bc cummins' the towing company my dad still works for had a 78? A model kw wrecker with a 400 cummins and 6" straight pipes had no radio because you couldnt hear shit lol no matter how easy you drove it. When you would hit that 3 stage jake it would rattle your brain 🤣🤣. Another really cool truck they had was a 80's ford ltl9000 with a 400 cat with a hydraulic holmes 1701 on the back. Nothing beats the smell of that raw diesel haze in the air on a cold morning though.

    Ok, I'll pause and try. Sounds like a misfire from either dirty points or the wire from the points to the coil grounding out somewhere. I'd start it in the dark and look for sparks.

      @@caseingersolltractorsnortheast don’t even get me started people buy this stuff from home depot and we get it in at the shop lots of the lawn tractors have a plastic variable speed transmission it’s such a terrible design and costs 400$ to replace if not more.

    Got my Case 446 running. Waiting for a snow storm to test it out. Just a small snow storm thou. 🤭🤭
    Bad condenser ground can cause trouble too.
    What is the difference between a B43G and a B48 ?
    Have a great day. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻

    • @caseingersolltractorsnortheast
      @caseingersolltractorsnortheast  9 месяцев назад +1

      Bad grounds can drive people crazy and with ignition issues one of the last things people check, but when nothing else makes sense go to grounding issue for sure. Hope you get to play in the snow. So the B48G, B48M etc the letters were the specs. So depending what spec would determine what options the manufacturers choose for the engines they were using, things like different carbs, starters, air filters, oil filter or not, exhaust, charging syestems, oil pans, also can be different internals etc. Different power ratings all kinds of things. Thanks for watching and the comment my friend talk soon Noel.

      Hehe. My 1970 JD 140H3 would be a great great great granddaddy of that JD 318. All the 300 series JD’s came from a JD 140. 🤭🤭👋👍🏻👍🏻👋
