I found a video that was made 2 years ago on this style whole i was looking for it :) she did crochet in the back instead of a sew in though but it was still really cute !

Yes I covered the track doing the the flip over method. Basically on your last braid take your track and turn it upside down. Sew it like that then flip it over. Once you do that then the braid won’t show. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions

When I did my braid pattern I didn’t do a circle I braided all my braids hung down like cornrows so there wouldn’t be a hump and I didn’t leave any of my natural hair out.
I’m going to try this tonight. If it doesn’t come out how I expect it I’ll assume it’s because i dnt have a man to kiss me while I do the second braid 😭😂 jk pray fa me
Honestly, I feel like the braiding hair would not give the same effect as the curly hair. Especially when the braids get older. I think you did the right thing by cutting it off the weft
