"Darshan Deeyo Moraa Naath" Ginan - Taufiq Karmali

Bibi Tahira, commonly known as Sayyida Imaam Begum lived in the late 18th/19th century in the Indian sub-continent with a family lineage to Pir Hasan Kabiruddin. She composed a small number of ginans of great beauty and was an accomplished player of the sarangi musical instrument. Imaam Begum was the last in the line of the Pirs and Saiyads who composed ginans, and the only known female composer.
