City Ruins: "Everything that lives is designed to end." Wicked Depths: "The fight to realize your ideals shall never end." Wolves' Haven: "Now, the noble wolves carve their souls into their swords." Murakumo Shrine: "The tragic fall of the cherry blossom magnifies its beauty, as with life." Motien Pass: "The memories of ancient battles slumber eternally unknown."
Sadly that same line was to be used again when you're in an online ranking match, along with "Let your desire for victory take you beyond your limits."
My prof might see this since there aren't many comments and I'm linking the video lol, but I found this a bit inspiring since I'm finishing a creative writing class and one bit of feedback I got is that the plot of my story can be hard to follow and that maybe it'd be good to do what they used to do in a lot of really old stories where they'd include a brief description of what was going on in each chapter to keep the reader following... I think having something like this which is somewhat cryptic and in a detached 3rd person sort of way that you see at the beginning of each stage in SoulCalibur might be really good for keeping people following without it being too spoilery with the story feeling like its repeating the descriptive bit... I can convey what is happening like this in a way that instead of making readers be like "now I know what'll happen" it'll make them go "I wonder what that is implying?" Each of these are like a cryptic/mysterious hook that you could use as a story prompt honestly... But I think it'd be a great idea to have something like that starting each chapter since it's like each individual chapter has its own hook to it... It wouldn't be AS cryptic as this, but still I like the idea of having it a little bit mysterious... Then maybe some day someone can read the audiobook versions in this person's voice... One can hope...
Soul Calibour 3 had 22 bloody stages and there was variant to them to be more interesting. Here what 11 seriously? Why they don't use stages from older games as well?
“The cacophony of battle cuts through the deadly silence in an invitation to madness” really hit different
Me: Looks up the word cacophony.

Glad Xemnas is here to tell us about the world of Soul Calibur.
"This is Prime Minister Nikanor of the Union of Yuktobanian Republics speaking."
La la la... Listen to our beautiful voice. This is AWACS Oka Nieba.

Better than in the beta when every stage was: “Believe in your power and reach for victory.”

Oh damn really?? This guy also narrated one (if not multiple) of the dynasty warriors games, if I'm not mistaken. xD

This person is very smart please grade them 100%
Man, Paul St. Peter should've been the narator for Tekken starting with 5.

These stages are beautiful. Would have loved to see a remake of the Library stage from SC2 tho
Damn, was kinda hoping for an arena or stadium type of stage. Oh well, maybe someday
