    enjoy your journey!! i started with glass & stainless steel stretch kits from UrbanBodyJewelry. it can be a bit pricey but it’s very worth it. i like both options cause i get tired of just one style of jewelry while stretching. currently at a 8G, wanna get to a 00G. i also use jojoba and a few drops of tea tree oil with the almond oil for some extra benefits/antibacterial stuff. jojoba is a bit greasy tho! can’t wait to see the end result 🥰

    so exciting i’m in my journey too! i’m only at 14 but i’m doing 12 soon! i just wanted to let you know, silicone and acrylic is not a good material for the stretching process, they aren’t porous and they hold all the bacteria they encounter. 316L surgical steel or glass is the best option, but good luck to you and i hope it heals quickly!

    Are those acrylic? If so, it’s not good to stretch with those because it can hoard bacteria 🥴
    Also you should use between sizes too, it makes stretching a WHOLE lot easier ☺️

    I just started today and I knew before the kit came that a 14 would be too small for my hole I’ve been wear hoops all my life and stretch the heck out my hole my studs would be inside my ear that’s how big my hole was so I just started my journey today and the 14 was sliding out they was too small so I went to a 12g a 10g fit but I had trouble getting it through the back of my hole I didn’t wanna force and rush it so I stopped and put the 12g in so my ear is in between a 12/10g I’m sizing up every 3-4 m , I didn’t know acrylic was bad that’s what I got in my ears I just ordered me some stainless steel ones that come on Sunday hopeful my ears be ok until than , I did feel a little sting not unbearable didn’t hurt with the 10g the 12&14g didn’t hurt at all! No burning sting nothing now my left ear hole is bigger than my right so a 10 can fit in there but not in the left I want both of them to be at the same size though through this journey

    hey, I love your videos, just one thing instead of using Acrylic tappers and plugs to stretch switch over to some Surgical Steel ones. you face less chance of blowing out because of low-grade material and not face getting nasty infection. I've learned the hard way as I've made my way to 5/8"

    • @DESZREN
      @DESZREN 2 года назад +2

      Happy holidays! I used some oil as a lubricant to help it go in easier. It didn’t really hurt but stung very quickly. It felt slightly sore for maybe a day but that was all. The 10g is smaller than the 8g. The lower the number the bigger the width

      @@DESZREN the weight distribution can cause them to stretch unevenly and causes thin spots. also glass is musch safer than stainless steel! stainless steel can be an amalgamation of random metals; there's no regulation for what stainless steel really means. the r/stretched subreddit has a really helpful guide; also lynn loheide (here on youtube + all over the internets) has a really great stretching guide that was the basis for the r/stretched guide. great place to start to have the fundamentals for safe stretching. happy stretching ! good to have your presence here + sharing your journey on youtube (:
