Fantastic video, much love from this Fitchburg train chaser! I've always wondered about the yards. I could do nothing but watch yard operation drone footage from you with that perfect chillwave soundtrack running in the background for hours at a time, honestly. Absolutely wonderful! 💕 My one small criticism is that you really need to slow down your speech! You're fantastically informative, and a brilliant writer, but I found it hard to digest everything because of the pace. Slow down a bit and you've got a great career in public speaking! Thanks for a great video!
Really great video, Sam! Drone shots were spectacular, and appreciate you following the airspace rules. Been riding the commuter rail since my first job, and have a soft spot for it despite smelling like diesel exhaust afterwards. Would love to see an in depth on the equipment, as well as the engine issues you mentioned. Do you know if there is track connecting N and S station traffic? Subscribed!
I didn't know that a future shop is going to be relocated to Iron Horse Park in Billerica. I wish that the old B&M / MEC maintenance shop would be used for that purpose again by the MBTA, give it some purpose while preserving history.
3:16 the track where BO-1 often sits that you show is called the valley track. Also, the "BET bypass" track is the Grand Junction. awesome vid!
