We talk about almost destroying our van, the drama of installing our windows and skylight, each of our experience during the TV show, and finally doing some woodworking in this project - building our benches! I love how these videos seem like decompression talk therapy sessions for you both to discuss how you worked through things. It's a very authentic take on the project.
Eden definitely tired or stressed. Not as energy filled episode as usual. Take a rest, you do not need to stick to schedule for us.

Anyhoodle... I find it so interesting how much of this discussion is about your relationship. How you communicate, think, etc. It's very interesting, but different (in a good way), that most van life videos that I follow, they speak specifically about the van build and their experiences when visiting places. There are exceptions, but mostly.
Me and my husband work very similarly as you two. We travel well, work well together on projects. We have tense moments but, never fight and also do a great job of talking it through and being over it in 30 min to an hour. I guess after 12 years, it's a good thing. It's very exciting to see where this whole journey goes. Thanks for sharing all of this info.
I know you're literally a professional woodworker. But I have been converted to star bit as the superior screw. Sometimes you just gotta drive a screw in at an angle and they resist stripping out so much better with an impact driver. Van looks great and it's coming along so quick (granted viewers are living in a time machine as we catch up to current day).
Your honest and open of the cuff dynamic definitely adds something not usually seen in Morley's well scripted videos 😊
Can't wait for more episodes, so far so much has been done on the van.
I feel like in any couple there’s going to be one person who never remembers that there’s a minor mismatch in the windows and one person who never forgets. In my marriage it’s my husband who’s hyper-focused on the tiny details while I’m more “eh, it’ll do” 😂

Thank you! Our cat has cerebellar hypoplasia so she doesn’t go far, but we have a cat backpack and leash for safety

I get the TV thing. Doing TV is great, but in stints. You learn A LOT. The days can be quite long (depending on whats being shot and where and deadlines) and it's full on and and can be extremely draining, especially for presenters as you're always on, always trying to inject more energy into it and you're not just focused on yourself, but everyone in the team to make sure you get your cue. When's the show out by the way? Is it online or cable only? (I should probably watch the video you made on it first before commenting)

So they are planning to travel in the van starting in winter months? Is that normal? And go to Planet Fitness to shower? Granted there are a lot of them but they are not that many in Canada (30 ish locations) and there are not many out west (where the national parks are assuming that is part of the trip?) I just don't see van life in December or January in Canada! Or even most of the US.

@@rebeccatchernoff6572 We're mainly working on it outside, so it will be difficult to work on the van with winter weather. We also rent our apartment, so we need to give 60 days notice. But mainly, we're excited to get going!
What happened to your floor? I thought you had the floor done and installed. Also, how wide is your hallway?
We have our subfloor down, not our final flooring. Nothing happened to it, maybe it just looks dusty on camera? The hallway is 24 inches wide.

Love your videos but please consider doing some van build videos or at least a time lapse. I get that it's a ton more work for you, but it's far more interesting to watch the build process than just having you talk about what you did.
