Our guest today on the market chat podcast is Jared Tendler who is a high level mental game performance coach who works with professional athletes, pro poker players, and institutional traders.
Jared is the author of multiple books including "The Mental Game of Trading"
In this interview we discuss Jared's background, his trading psychology system, and how to leverage your own emotions and reach peak performance as a trader.
Trading Psychology and Mindset is an aspect of trading that many traders know is important but have yet to adopt a full system to track their emotions, reach the root of their emotional problems, and correct performance flaws.
Building on his background from competitive golf, Jared has developed systems to track emotional states and prevent many of the mistakes Trader's make with regards to FOMO, TILT, etc.

Losing is easy to handle when you manage your risk and have a plan. I’m never afraid to pull the trigger when I see a good set up because I know my loss will be minimal and 1 winner can make up for 5 losers.
Proper risk management helps preserve both financial and mental capital

I use to avoid these kind of interviews, brushing them off as useless. But now I realise that trading is 80-90% mental - its a head fuck.

trading is pure agonising headfk full of excruciating pain&stress , its the main reason most just cant ever hack it, its not as glamourous as it looks in the instagram ads or what most people think
